This is restaurant offers buffets and a la carte meals. Breakfast buffet offering is varied and is generally good to excellent in quality. We loved their thai food (tom yum and choo-chee pla), however the dishes were on the mild side despite asking for the hot option. Their pasta pomodoro serving has perfectly cooked al dente pasta but the sauce is on the sweet side.

The restaurant vacillated between ala carte and buffets. Tried most of items on menu between five day stay. The mud crabs were wonderful one night and over cooked he next. Pasta Bolognese was fine to Filipino taste (sweet), so beware if want savory. Over all was good food.

The Ocean is the One

I am gluten intolerant. I am glad that even with room service, the restaurant did accommodate my request for what I need. My suggestion would be, upon booking your reservations to let the front desk know ahead of time with any food requirements you have. The staff are courteous and professionals, with a ready smile. The chefs, thumbs up, on hand can whip up real good food that's delicious catering to a variety of national dishes from Japanese to Filipino and American, etc. You don't even have to go very far to satisfy your appetite. They provide catering packages with set menus if you are on a voyage with the island adventure that the lovely Coron, Palawan has with its natural beauty. You not only have to try it, but it is a must.

The food was good for the most part, need more variety specially for people who stay awhile like we did. Ran out of all fruits - mangoes, coconuts, bananas when we first got there but the staff was great and gracious. Joy, Dandie, Carlos, Champ - you guys made our experience even more special.

Needs to improve their menu

Surprisingly this resto doesn't offer much seafood items. The buffet offers fulfilling meals but there's still room for improvement. Breakfast buffet is very good. They should offer more fresh fruits & fruit shakes. I ordered enchiladas with guacomole, The dip was disappointingly bitter (moldy-taste). For ala-carte orders: most of their menu items were on the mid-expensive range (P450++) for the locals.

The pianist and the singers are amazing

Buffet is ok. But the servers are quick to top up your water and collect your empty plate. At dinner time, they play the piano live. and afterwards, a group of crew will serenade every table. The songs that they sing are very relaxing, soft melody and romantic. Well done!

the buffet might be a little bit expensive at over 1200 pesos per person, but since it's off land and has an option to order at cheaper price, it's not bad.

Hooray for Buffet!

I was with a friend and for me, it's just not a vacation if we didn't splurge on food. The buffet is a must because I'm a growing boy. They do themed buffets so you won't get tired of your whole stay. I would say my most favorite part is breakfast and dinner, if it's got BACON, it's super nice in my books. Theirs is the super crunchy version so I couldn't really have enough of that. In almost every meal, they had super sweet mangoes so make sure you get tons of it, then ask them to replenish, then get some more, then be a good boy and sit in a corner to have them all for yourself. Aside from that, I like the meats in the evening, the steamed fish in the afternoon (that's super fresh) and just about anything that's got bacon... yes bacon. It's the only restaurant in the island. You have no choice but they switch the cuisine everyday so you'll feel surprised every time you go there. One thing that made me love this place is that the moment I ordered the first time my drink which is just plain water with tons of ice, they remembered it and every time I go there, they already had it prepared the moment I sit down. How's that for personalized service right? Oh and please don't be shy asking song requests from the band there, they're pretty great especially with local romantic songs. You can also ask for them to arrange special dinners, just ask the front desk or the people at the restaurant. I saw some people having dinner under the moon and I got pretty jealous, I admit. I mean that would be pretty good with a romantic dinner date with a lady right? Oh and what if we proposed to our fiance's, the possibilities are endless! So just eat.
