The restaurant offers breakfast lunch tea and dinner. Breakfast is complimentary for the coconut lagoon guests which includes local food and continental food.
I liked the starters they used to provide along with the dinner. Each and every item were so delicious.

I must say, it was one of the most delightful Indian buffet lunches I've experienced. The spread was truly amazing, featuring an extensive selection of both North Indian and South Indian dishes, catering to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike.
The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the seating arrangements were impeccably organized, creating a neat and pleasant ambiance.

We visited Ettukettu for lunch during our stay in kumarakom. The resort organised a ride back and forth from the jetty the ambience and the service was simply wonderful. The vegetarian thali was underwhelming though. Do make sure you ask for parottas as they don’t serve it with a 2000 rupee thali !!! Our toddler had a fantastic time with the lovely restaurant crew and overall was a lovely way to spend the afternoon. My partner enjoyed shopping in the gift shop as well. Two things - we could not get the reception to organise a ride back to our resort. Fortunately the lovely Nr. Joseph took it upon himself to check for a ride from jetty. In the end we made our own way back. Also the resort could do a better job with their vegetarian thali and provide more options for alternate meats for my partner (who could not eat the shellfish)

We went with high expectations after having made a reservation for dinner.
We were ushered to the table and then the waiter came and asked for my name. He wrote it ON THE PALM IF HIS LEFT HAND with a pen. He then asked for my mobile number, and I asked him to contact the reservation desk. SAD.
The food ordered was just ordinary. The sequence of food to be served we wanted was reversed. SAD again.
Neither the Manager nor anyone besides the waiter came to enquire about food or service delivery.
The Paul John label didn't live upto its name.

Food & service are good but way too expensive .. veg biriyani & kadai subzi for 1450 + gst is on the higher side even for a 5 star restaurant .. good ambience ..

They have a very good breakfast buffet. In addition, lunch and dinner can be had buffet or a la carte and there is an extensive menu to choose from

This restaurant in coconut lagoon is too good for breakfast lunch nd dinner. Every day at 7.30pm there is dance performance which is very interesting to see. And the food, ambience, staff all are fantastic.

We visited Ettukettu for lunch because we had heard great things about the Kumarakom Lake Resort and also Ettukettu. The buffet had good variety but the quality of food was just average. Nothing jumped out as amazing or anything to write home about, especially for the price you pay ~ Rs 1500/pp. The service was great, with the staff being delighted to answer all our questions and willing to make small customizations to items. All in all, if the food was of better quality, wouldn't mind visiting here again.

Amazing Breakfast Buffet.What a spread.You have so many live counters and all Kerala specialities..
North Indian and Continental items are also available.
The service is too good.The waiters are so good and so willing to get anything you want to your table.If you want to be pampered this is where you should eat.

A great lunch I had after a long time in kerala. Loved the food,the different recipes,multi cuisine,great ambience, excellent service. You should not miss it at least the restaurant.

It was my father-in-law's 70th birthday and we as a family decided to make lunch special, and (unfortunately) chose Kumarakam Lake Resort.
You got to give it, their hospitality is top notch, but, that cannot make up for quality food and timely service.
The starters were good, but where they went off rails was for the main course.
Half of us ordered steaks and the others fish, rice and the regulars. We not only had to wait for a long time, but when food finally arrived, the steaks were stale.
After gently prodding the manager, service was expedited.
When the steaks finally arrived the veggies were fridge-cold. I'd ordered for a medium, one fillet was well done.
My point is: if you can't do justice to the food listed on your menu, don't have it on the menu.
By this we were tired, fed up to be precise.
But all was not over. They gave us a wrong bill.
This was my second visit to Kumarakam Lake Resort, the first one almost 10 years back. The standards have come down, way down.

We stayed at KLR for a few days. The food at their restaurant is amazing. And add to it cultural programs in the evening, it just makes the experience great.
