After my mother's doctor consultation, we went for simple salads for dinner. We started with our mushroom soup along side with our guavano juices. The soup was an excellent starter for our salads. Right-size of salad to fill us up. With laughter while our meal, it was indeed a fulfilling dinner. We surely will come back for a light filling dinner.

Excellent roast herb chicken in a super friendly environment. Better to order food in advance if going in a large group. All their appetisers are delicious too!!!

Well, we almost missed having what is probably the best meal we had this vacation. We were passing by Los Banos, Laguna on our way from Lucena to Manila. My wife looked and found that herb Republic was highly rated. The pics in Google also said the same. We decided to have lunch there.
We turned left on Lopez Ave, we passed Robinson, passed BPI and could not find it. We made a U-turn and saw it on the left (supposed to be just before BPI). Why we missed it, we were looking for an elegant place. Seeing it and how it looked, very old and dilapidated from the outside, we decided to go to Robinson. Thanks be to God, there were no food outlets there.
Something inside me said, "go to Herb Republic", so we did. We were received by two young ladies; one of them had a hearing aid. That was the reason they had a card with some sign language pics. It was good learning even though we did not have to use them.
We had to wait about half an hour for our food to be served, but it was well worth the wait. They cook to order using fresh organic products.
We had soup, Salad, Mushroom Tempura, Chili Cheese Sticks, Crispy Spinach, and Rosemary Chicken with White and Brown Rice. All were delicious, but the Crispy Spinach was my favorite. It looked and tasted out of this world; oh ever so beautiful and delicious!!! By the way, our charge was less that PhP2,000, which was a welcome surprise. Talk about value for money.
The pics will speak for the ambiance, so I will not say much there. I loved the old Volkswagen van as it reminded me of my father's more than 50 years ago.
I promise to return the next time we are in Los Banos.

It was a rainy day and we headed here for a late lunch. It started with a nice coffee service. Then it proceeded to a uncommonly decent salad and a half a tarragon chicken.
The shakes are also rather fine: the calamansi, guyabano, and the soy milk whixh they prepped à la shake.
The restaurant was cozily appointed with classic tunes playing from 50's jazz to 70s folk music.
What I most appreciated is the effort the establishment puts forth to create opportunities for the deaf community and their tasteful manner of presenting the socially responsible hiring practice.

Herb republic is wonderful! The food is mouthwatering. A definite must for Los Baños. We had a load of veggies, chicken, bread, fresh juices on point!

Herb Republic is one of our go-to restaurants in Los Baños! Great tasting food presented very nicely, cozy ambiance, and combined with the knowledge that the food being served are sourced carefully (talk about probiotics and pesticide-free harvests). They also employ a number of deaf-mute servers which is a noble advocacy for the owner.

That's one of the best line I heard from Gordon Ramsay.
This quaint restaurant at eLBi is really inviting, and I've been wanting to eat here ever since my not-so regular visits at Los Baños.
We came here after we checked out from Makiling Onsen Hotel (see my review also) and had our lunch here.
We ordered their food but we waited for more than an hour!! I mean, for a restaurant that's jampacked during lunchtime(well not really because they only have 2 huge tables and 4 or 5 tables for 2pax, the mini tables were not occupied at that time. We came here around 1pm), i think an hour of waiting time is unacceptable.
Well, good thing that we loved the taste of their food. Their staff told us that they only have 2 chefs that time.
We're not mad at that time tho, and we talked to their staff and advised that next time, the staff should keep their customers updated from time to time to set expectations on when will the food be delivered. Good thing their staff was apologetic and we appreciated it.
Bro tip: don't eat here when you're in a hurry, or when you're really really hungry. Haha.

Nice ambiance, great food, very nice crew, nice music. I loved the paintings on their wall. the place "it's just like you are going back to old days".. sarap maka sinauna!!!

I had a great lunch with my brother and mother. My mom enjoyed the music played during that time, though the tables were only few better to have a reservation to ensure your slot. Tried their herb spiced chicken (which have 3 sizes), salads and shakes. If you visit Los Baños, never miss this one.

We were the first customer of the day at 11AM so the Aircon wasn't on yet this the heat. But I didn't mind as this was a little sentimental trip for me. The restaurant is a small wooden house where I used to live as a student in UPLB.
I wasn't disappointed coming here.
Order the Bok choy- its as good as it gets. The rosemary chicken lived up to its reputation as well. I'm always hesitant ordering seafoods in places that's not close to the coast. But the tuna belly they served was fresh and grilled with herbs perfectly.
I will come back her definitely.
By the way their music selection was also great.

the place surprisingly is serving healthy and delicious food. we were hesitant at first but honestly, we really enjoyed the food. we will definitely come back.
the best thing is that their staff are mostly deaf and mute. kudos to your management for employing the handicapped.

My first visit here was in 2014, to take a break from your usual fast food. I ordered the bok choy rolls, chicken spiced with herbs, and guyabano shake. Food tastes fresh and all natural and organic as promised. The ambiance was very Filipino since it was like a home-turned-into-restaurant. They even have a piano (you can ask the attendants if you want to play). The comfort room was clean. They also sell fresh produce, and mind you, you must buy their honey. I craved for their bok choy rolls and visited again in September 2016. To my surprise however, the bok choy rolls were too salty, and the chicken was dry and cold. I would still recommend you to visit anyway.
