Okay food good location

Located right downtown above the street is Cosmo restaurant. Food is good with nice selection. Had the chicken casadilla and it was good. Make sure to order the salsa and guacamole to go with it.

Located just down the road from clock tower the location is convenient. Simple interior is clean and neat. I had the chicken curry and rice. Good meal, massive portion. Packed well for takeaway.

Good location, average food.

Located near the clock tower, Cosmo is first floor restaurant with good views over Mbale and Mount Elgon. The food was adequate and the service was disappointingly slow.

I have been there a couple of times to have my favorite local dish of smoked pasted beef in gnut stew with steamed pressed matooke and it has always been good. The meat is soft and tender of course with an ice cold coca cola

Nice view of Mbale town

This one of the very few places in where you can view Mbale town at the top of the building. Its strategically located on Republic street opposite Delicious restaurant. It has great coffee. While there, We were treated to great customer care.

Good option

We came here with some of our scholars after their graduation ceremony at UCU. The restaurant is up on the second floor, and that really does make a difference in terms of street noise. It's a really pleasant environment and the service was great. I actually didn't eat there (just had something to drink), but our students did and they really enjoyed their dishes. I will definitely be adding this to the list of restaurants to dine in in the future.

If you want a Rolex overlooking the hassle and bustle of Mbale high-street this is the place for you. The Rolex is a chapatti with fried egg, a favourite in this part of the world. The smoothies and juice drinks are also good as are the samosas. It is all within a good price range and just has a really nice feel to it. We only made it once as was closed between Christmas and the New Year but is certainly worth checking out.

A Great View for Dinner!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Mbale. The balcony offers a lovely view of Republic street and Wanale, and the service is consistently good. They offer a range of local and Western foods, but my favorite is their tomato soup, served hot with toast or chapati.
