Great atmosphere and great food

We were are Hein’s Café Cappucino with friends on one of the legendary evenings that a live band played there. Great music with different fantastic singers, specially the one that performed dancing queen from abba😀 Heins food is nice. I had the pork sate with bihon, very very tasteful with beAutifull wine. Hein himself presented us Some homemade typical Dutch fingerfood. We had a great evening there and I can recommend to visit it if you are in mactan. Grtz arno

Saw my neighbor feasting on this steak, eyes all glazed over like a shark in a feeding frenzy, so I had to try it out. Mmmmm! Mmmmm! It was so tender. # 20 on the A la Cart. Hein will deliver. I had the mash potatoes with the mushroom sauce and stir fried veggies. 20 bucks about with delivery. Well worth it.

The best food and ambiance on Mactan Island

This restaurant is unique on Mactan Island. The reasons are many. The ambiance is the best you can have. The lights, the decoration and the hospitality make you feel at home. They have 4 different area’s to sit. From a sportsbar, where you can play biljard, till an Intimate Italian part. In the weekend in the main restaurants there are life bands in the evening, when you have dinner. And another reason is the variety and quality of the food. They have one of the best Italian chefs and a top Japanese chef, besides the European chef. The sashimi of Tuna or Salmon, the Maki are absolute dilicious. Also Koreans or locals can find their way. This looks like an advertisement, but it is not. I come already every year for three weeks to the Phillipines. More than 30 years. I always stay in Shangri-La and the last years i eat many times in cafe Cappucino. That’s why i have a good view on the restaurants in this area. But look also the other reviews!

Avoid this place for breakfast at all costs expensive with rubbish service

Good food ruined by inadequate service dropped in for breakfast server was still half asleep had to ask to order after sitting for 15 minutes in an empty restaurant completely useless staff hid in the kitchen did not approach the front of house typical local attitude

Very nice place with happy hour most of the time. Free pooltable and darts. Good food, good service and a very nice place. The first place in Philippines I've been to that manage to serve food for 8 guests at one table at the same time

Great Food and Coffee

This is now one of my favorite places to eat on Mactan. They have a good selection of food items and so far everything I’ve tried has been excellent. Service is always fast and friendly and the ambiance is wonderful. Try the pancakes or the Dutch and Indonesian snacks. You can tell this Restaurant and Cafe is managed with love and care. It is a short walk from Mactan Newtown.

Superb Cafe Bar With Nice Art

Came here as they were showing the rugby world cup, found a place with great food, a classy ambience and some really nice art on the walls for sale at reasonable prices - shame works were too big to fit in luggage!!

Best Breakfast on Mactan Island

I have spent a lot of time on Mactan and Cebu City and Cafe Cappuccino has the best breakfast regarding value, taste, quantity and service. The staff is always friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and you feel like your on vacation any time of day.

Great little find.

Stumbled across this place by chance, unfortunately it was on our last day in mactan. The place is a great little chill spot service cold beers, amazing coffees, and good quality food of all kinds. Also has a pool table and live music on a Saturday. Would definitely recommend this place

Great surprise

Knowing the owner from previous business dealings, I popped in this place for an impromptu lunch with my wife. We ordered the chicken teriyaki and beef steak and were most pleasantly surprised at how good the quality of the food was as well as how attentive the staff were. Menu selection is extensive and pricing is fair as value seems high, we also noted happy hour offerings. The place is well furnished and frequented by expats as well as locals. We will definitely be back and will highly recommend in the meantime to our circle of friends looking for a casual yet seemingly well managed dining/bar option in Lapu Lapu. Well done !!
