We were really looking forward to having dinner here, as we had a brilliant experience last year but we were very disappointed. The menu was the same as last year, but the food quality was completely different - the shrimp tacos had no flavour, the shrimp heavily deep fried on a plain bed of lettuce and tomato. The soft shell crab salad was also inedible. The service was really unfriendly and we were rushed to order / to pay etc. We asked for salsa for the tacos and it was a simple no. The bar is good (separate business to the food) so worth going just for a drink at sunset but would avoid the food at all costs.

La plage by far was the most outstanding and exquisite meal I have had the pleasure of eating.
I had the whole lobster which was cooked to perfection and melted like butter in my mouth.
We had the pleasure of meeting dj who cooked our meal, he is the most welcoming and friendly person who took time out to speak to us.
The location and view is phenomenal with a very relaxed vibe.
I can 100% recommend la plage you won't be disappointed.

Rented 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella. The cost was $50.00 bbd. but included two rum punches. The restaurant is attached to the bar but is run by two different people. Had an excellent fish cutter and fries $20.00 bbd. Would return for the food.

Just sit down and order the lobster with fries.. you will not be disappointed. The owner is warm and inviting and talk about 5 star winning personality. This is a must visit spot. Sit watch the sunset and vibe. (I didn’t even mention the fish cake) Chefs Kiss (disclaimer I ate the fries before I could get a photo) lol

The freshly prepared chicken wrap with spice and herb infused chips was truly fantastic! Give this chilled bar with fresh ingredients in their food a try!

Total disaster. Waited a hour for food to be told run out of gas. The bar is good and well run but the food part is hopeless. Avoid

Food took over an hour to arrive - they said they were v busy but only served 3 other tables (2 of which arrived after us). We’d had to check in 3 times - each time being told 10 minutes
Food was poor for price - one fish cutter (at $45) had a piece of fish 1” x 2”) All had limp lettuce, thin slice of tomato and a dash of mayo. First 3 plates arrived followed by next 3 about 5 minutes later. The accompanying fries arrived when we’d finished our cutters.
Then had cheek to add 10% service charge. V disappointing so won’t be back - plenty more Soeightstown options
