Fantastic restaurant overlooking the sea, located 5 minutes north ( by car ) from Port St Charles on the north west coast of Barbados Housed in a 17th century fort, this family run restaurant has been a local favorite for the past 20 years. Reasonably priced by Barbados standards, the menu is varied with an emphasis on fresh seafood.

My full disclosure first...I have stayed at the Little Good Harbour many times and I have dined here since 2005. I have always loved the attention to detail and you can see the effort Andrew and his wife have invested in this very special place....Now fast forward to 2021...this strange world we now live in. Has it changed, does it feel like a facsimile of all my past experiences. ABSOLUTELY NOT. If anything the light refresh and menu changes have enhanced the place. The Menu is a very well thought out compilation to suit all tastes. It's subtly different to its sister restaurant (Sea Shed), the ingredients are always super fresh and they reflect the vibrance of what's available on the island in that season. I have never had a night here or a lunch that is anything other than super memorable. If someone asked my opinion of what not to miss...its the Fish Pot ! Go there, relax, take your time and don't forget the excellent selection of new and old world wines...More

The beach and setting was beautiful. We came for a romantic meal for two on Monday (march 2021). The staff were attentive and delivered fantastic service. The musician was charming and set a great environment. The only downfall was the food. We ordered the catch...of the day and felt underwhelmed by what we received. Lacking in depth and undercooked. The cocktails needed some work and attention. Not sure I would recommend. Left feeling rather deflated for the money spent on the meal.More

Absolutely great Sunday Lunch. Ticks all the boxes at the top. Ambiance on the sea, service above and beyond and food that is exceptional. This is our favourite restaurant in Barbados and highly recommend that you find out for yourself.

We have been coming here for many years. Very happy to see that it’s looking a bit tidier. The beach looks much nicer and better organised. The aluminium structure out the front doesn’t seem as intrusive as it was previously. We went twice on our...December trip, one of which was Xmas day. Service was lovely. Food simple but good, tasty and generous. There was music on Xmas day in the new lounge. Looking forward to returning in June. Fingers crossed.More

My partner had been telling me all about the Fish Pot for a while and finally we got to go together with some friends before they flew back home. The venue is lovely and the staff attentive and friendly but for us the food wasn't...up to the standard i was expecting or that which my partner had experienced on other visits. A starter of jumbo shrimp was actually a few pieces of shrimp in a substantial clump of mainly lettuce which, out of the three of us who ordered it, no one ate. Mains on the whole were good, although one catch of the day was returned due to too many bones ( Gordon Ramsey would've sworn a bit about it to the chef!! ) not whats expected of a restaurant of that caliber . Based on this i'm not convinced it's worth the extra travel time, taxi fare etc, the same standard, if not better can be had at restaurants just down the road from us in Holetown. It is a great venue and like i said the staff were great but for us the food just didn't make it a great evenning.More

Firstly our table was amazing .... beach front and secluded with only three other tables. Staff were super friendly. The food was great too. Lots of choice and the Mr recommends the lamb shank. Shrimp was lovely too with the pineapple and mango. I chose...the burger and it was perfectly cooked. Cocktails tasted so good we had six! Watching the sunset go down with the picturesque settings made our final meal on the island so memorable. Would HIGHLY recommend and think it was the best our of many of the high end restaurants on the island.More

Before making mention of anything I'd first like to thank Mr Paul Edwards and his very competent team for taking such good care of us for what was a magical experience. We were greeted, sat at a beautiful table overlooking the picturesque coastline, allowing full...access to the afternoon sunset. The meals, clams, octopus, risotto, steak, braised lamb, among a few were brilliantly masterd buy the chef who I had the privilege of meeting before the end of the dinner. The Montes Alpha sauvignon blanc provided the perfect pairing for every dish we chose. And for the finally the desserts literature peaked our taste buds. If you're ever in Barbados and don't visit the Fish Pot, then you would have missed out on the most Magnificent Northern Dinning Experience. Thank you Fish Pot team, we'll be back again.More

The best place to enjoy a glass of cold Rose while absorbing the scenery.... I have had the pleasure of lunching at The Fish Pot many times and the team, food, setting is just amazing..... The issue is "picking" - from the menu as the...food is simply fantastic (i often had to order two "mains" as couldn't say no to the Lobster Risotto (a shared "side" for the table - not being too greedy :-)). Andrew, the team are welcoming and after a busy morning fishing, its great to take the "catch" in and share stories. very safe with Covid etc - a must go to place.... you can also take a boat up the coast as an alternative mode of transport as it has a little jetty.More
