Exquisite food, attention to detail, great host

Just been in for the 2nd night in a row, joined by owner Luca who is a splendid host and very laid back, knows how to appreciate the important things in life! Loko Shrimp and Buddha Bowls were our favourites along the great mojitos and quality coffee. The attention to detail in the meals is first class both in presentation and balance of flavours, always top quality ingredients. It is obvious this establishment REALLY cares about what it offers to it's customers, in fact I've had Michelin star meals which were not as good as the offerings here despite it being a pretty remote island without the easy supply chain other restaurants have the advantage of. Luca's make masterpieces from the best of both local and imported produce creating a fusion of Italian and asian to delight the diners. Understandably busy but that's no problem for the friendly local staff who provide attentive service and nothing seems too much trouble when asked to tweak an order to suit individual taste but yet somehow still manage to make the presentation absolutely immaculate, how they manage this with every table occupied while maintaining such a relaxed, happy but totally professional approach is amazing! We were made to feel old friends of the family and enjoyed every minute and every mouthful of our visit, thank you Luca & co, commendatory, grazie mille!

SO AMAZING you must have the Buddha Bowl!!!

I was here back in February 2020. My friend and I were on holiday and had visited this restaurant three times. Everything we had eaten was amazing. My favorite was the Buddha Bowl! I don't usually write reviews but I felt I had to since I literally just HUNTED google maps to find this resturant so I could look at their menu. I have been craving their Buddha Bowl and just had to know exactly what their base and sauce were. When you look online for Buddha Bowls there are many recipes but they killed it here! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting this area of the Phiippines. I want to jump on an airplane right now just to return to Siquijor for this Buddha Bowl.

Great bowls and nice atmosphere. Were there for breakfast and dinner on several days. Recommendations: the musli bowls, Spanish omelette, French fries, Ramen, the smoothies Sometimes quite a lot of the food on the menu was not available. But as all of the food is very good, this is not much of a problem

After reading the reviews myself and partner went in search of good quality healthy food! Everything seemed fine upon ordering, I am a very fussy eater so asked what was in the meal I ordered, chicken, rice, green beans and carrots. Perfect! And then my partner got the buddah bowl after all the good reviews! Started with the loko potatoes which were nice, but a little steep for roast potatoes. When the food turned up my dish had several other ingredients that were not described and that I dislike! Spent ten minutes picking it all out, end result was decent. Just frustrating. I know I’m a fussy eater and a pain but this is why I asked exactly what was in my dish before ordering! My partners buddah bowl was not good, incredibly dry, a peculiar blend of flavours and a high price. I suppose one way to sell one of your most expensive dishes is to label it “best seller” We were never asked how our food was despite a large amount left over and when I paid I mentioned that the food was not good to which I received a smile and a thank you!! What a waste of a meal!

Seems they ran out of tuna

Ordered a scrimp and tuna cous cous. Seems the ran out of tuna, so they served 10 shrimps with cous cous and charged 315 pesos. Suddenly Philippines don't seem so inexpensive anymore.

A mediocre restaurant, comparing to others a good choice though

We visited both for breakfast and dinner. Variety of dishes is good. Service was much better when we visited for dinner with a full restaurant than when for breakfast with an almost empty restaurant. It's not a cheap choice generally. Portions are quite good. Food is just OK. Nothing special. We ordered several bowls, the Spanish omelette, the vegetarian meatballs, the tuna cous cous, the smoothie bowls and drunk smoothies. All of them OK but nothing special which comparing to what you pay for it makes it a mediocre choice. I have to admit though that comparing to other restaurants this is one of the best choices in the area.

AVOID buddha bowl, the peanut butter sauce was sweet which made the whole dish disgusting, forced myself to eat it. Squash gnocchi on the other hand are superb! So was the watermelon juice... The place is full of wanna be cool europeans, so if u have a man bun, welcome! 😆

I visited the restaurant on several occasions. I don't usually write reviews, but in this case, a mention is certainly deserved. I consider the restaurant the best on the island, in relation to the value for money. Local products of the highest standard are used and the result is excellent. The dishes offered are very special and of high quality. The service was always impeccable and the variety of the menu offered allows you to go several times, to be able to taste the many and always excellent dishes. The Italian owner and his Filipino spouse have created a small jewel well located in the San Juan area, easily accessible and with parking available.

Nasi Goreng cherry popped. Not bad, but service could be more attentive

I have not had a Nasi Goreng before, and I thought it was quite tasty, though the shrimp were not de-shelled. My girlfriend thought the curry was quite good if not amazing. The starters were brilliant. We ordered milkshakes and coke zeros for drinks. The milkshakes were pretty good. The place is nice, but the only issue is the waitress was not very attentive, and then when she did come over, it seemed to always be when we were in the middle of a conversation, instead of a moment where we were not talking. Maybe she is new to the restaurant game, but could improve her timing. Additionally, there were a couple of over ten minute delays for her to return both when we asked for WiFi and the bill at the end.

Good food Good price Very Good service I enjoyed all my meals here. Went twice. There are enough dishes to please a variety of dietary needs. I will definitely come back next time I’m on the island. They are also open until midnight which really helped

Very good restaurant that serves a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. We ordered the mango smoothie, satay noodles, gnocchi and chicken with rice. All were delicious. The matcha ice cream tasted very high quality and they also offer oat or soy milk. The staff was very friendly.

Delicious food

Food was really delicious and portions good size. Didn't have to wait long for food to arrive. We wanted to order tofu bowl, however they didn't have any tofu left and suggested to have it with shrimps. It was delicious! For dessert we had mango smoothie bowl.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Service was good and the food was really tasty. The Buddha bowl was delicious, and the Korean beef, fried prawns. Really good presentation. We ended up coming back the next day for smoothie bowls for breakfast. Reasonably priced for good quality food

A must try in siquijor!

The food was really delicious and freshly prepared. We had the thai chicken curry and the satay noodles. There are many different options, which differ from the food you normally get in the philipines. Also the portions are bigger, which we loved. The staff was also really nice and the restaurant seems very clean. We can highly recommend coming here!

Disgusting

I was disappointed with the waitress with a tattoo, she is very strict, not friendly. the food they serve very disgusting ..the food presentation is not nice its like a trash..that flower has a worm the purple flower ok the white flower has a worm.I called the waitress she didn't notice me she use cellphone. I dont recommend this restaurant
