We just can’t stop saying the food is soooo good! After eating here we keep talking about how we want to go back and dine. I’m back in moalboal now just for this restaurant unfortunately it’s close ,can’t wait to dine here again.

There are a handful of wonderful restaurants in Moalboal and Kugita is certainly deserving of their number 1 rank! Sushi is excellent, as is the seafood but the star on the menu is the steak! Master Chef knows how to grill and serve a quality...piece of meat, cooked to the customer's instruction and served sliced to prove the meat is prepared perfectly. Parking is available and it is set back from the road to provide a relaxing dining ambience. Staff are always smiling, even with all tables full! Service is excellent. Thanks Kugita!More

Best sushi in Moalboal! Have about a dozen different rolls all of which are unique and so wonderful!

We spent a wonderful couple of hours over lunch at this restaurant. We had the sushi and sashimi - all dishes were delicious and beautifully presented - we ate far more than we intended! A memorable meal and first class service .

Serious good. Creative, imaginative and dressy. Yes, some things weren’t available but work with it and you’ll be rewarded. Very impressed.

Excellent sushi, we went back as it was so good. Very fresh, friendly staff. It’s busy so sometimes a short wait but worth it. Best dinner we had in Moalboal and up there with the best sushi I’ve ever had. Tuna was particularly good, we...had to order more! Really recommend this placeMore

We came to this restaurant twice during our stay in Moal Boal. As a big sushi fan I really enjoyed the food and the service was good. On our first visit the place was busy and we were asked to share our table with another...couple, which wasnt ideal. Thankfully this only lasted for 15 minutes before a table became free and the other couple moved. This was the only downside to our visits here. Lovely setting and fast service.More

Best sushi I have ever had! Great variation of taste, texture and ingredients. Some of the rolls they make might fall apart because of lots of good filling, but that doesn’t matter. Would recommend this place to every sushi lover! Didn’t try anything else on...the menu. Maki rolls are from 280-330 php pr roll. Very friendly staff.More

I was looking for some fresh fish and grill and this was a perfect choice. We were a group of 6 and were honestly so lucky to get a table! I had the hand rolled sushi (which there is a great selection) and the tuna...nigiri. The rice was seasoned perfectly, the ingredients were so fresh and the McGwire was crunchy and absolutely delicious. The serving sizes are quite big so expect to leave full. My family had a combination of the grilled pork belly, which comes with soup, shrimp tempura and homemade papaya sides. We also shared a steam sea bass and this was amazing. The ginger and garlic was just the right amount. It’s a great place for some fresh food! The only suggestion I would make is let the customers know what you have available as they sit down, some of my group were getting frustrated as we would choose something, it wasn’t available, then choose something else to find it also wasn’t available. This was an obvious sign that they are busy, but the food still came out very quickly. Highly recommend! Will be going again.More
