If you have the chance to stop at Johnny’s Restaurant at Laiya, San Juan, Batangas you should. We were on our way back to Manila and were looking for a place to have lunch when we chanced upon this great place. What makes this place...so great is that their food was not commercialised. Their sinigangs (sour soups), we had shrimp and pork, tasted like home. Most of their food and ingredients are sourced and grown at the property itself. We had the great luck of having their newly harvested rice. We were really happy with our lunch at this place. We recommend you try it.More
