I ate here several times during my stay. The food was very good and very cheap. I ate breakfast at ging ging’s most days and the Filipino breakfast was much better than the hotel I stayed in. I would also recommend the fried fish with vegetables as a highlight. Very good local food for very little money. Don’t be put off but the modest location!

Super cheap and good portions but really basic food. Italian-style spaghetti was just spaghetti in ketchup and vegetable fried rice was just rice with a few tiiiny pieces of vegetables. Does the job if you’re hungry, but don’t go here if you want a special culinary experience.

We stayed in Malapascua for one week, trying different kind of restaurant and beach bar.
After the discover of Ging-Ging we keep come in this familiar restaurant for breakfasts and dinner.
Has been the best quality/price solution we've found.

Nice local food for good money!
We went there 2 times and it was really OK there. Also they serve western food if you are not happy with local dishes.

If you are on a budget you can find plain breakfast, lunch and dinner. Family run, friendly, very cost effective and safer than the market.

good food at very affordable price. serving is also good. you just need to go deep inside th back portion of the beach front in order to dine here. waiting time will take longer if there are a lot of diners. so better order quick and follow up once in a while.

We had the best Philippine food in this very affordable restaurant. Go there and try their fried noodles with squid, you cannot be disappointed ! 80 pesos !

The garden setting was nice. We ordered pork adobo and chicken curry. Portions came out and looked like children's size. We aren't big eaters, but this was very small. We had to go afterwards and get some BBQ extras in the center of town to kill the hunger. Especially when the pork was just in a sweet watery sauce and came with some white rice...That's it. Sure we paid around mid 300, but let's call it just tapas!

It used to be better , on this return visit the food was disappointing. It's all just salty and long long wait even though there were only 2 tables including ours. Though the price is very affordable, I wouldn't recommend this place anymore

Food was disappointing on our visit and we haven’t tried a second time. Could have been a bad day, but it was enough to put us off.

Located a short walk from the beach area. The decor is simple and basic. Service can be indifferent but when your paying cheap prices who cares. I guess their prices are aimed at a backpacking clientele. I only had breakfast there and it's pretty hard to go wrong with an omelet.

The food is mediocre.
The prices are low compared to other restaurants.
The service depends on the staff that happens to be working at the time. Of course none have training but some are much more polite while others are on their phones the whole time.

This always popular is the best budget choice for dining on malapascua for many years. But it loss its former charm. There are far better choices in the logon market nearby (near starlight resort/guesthouse)
