The restaurant The Craic House on Evolution Resort can be hardly recomended. Smiling and serviceminded staff recomended different dishes, wich all was very tasteful. You could Feel that All the ingredients were fresh and treated by good chefes in the kitchen. Everything in the restaurant is clean, and the atmosphere is relaxing, while you are sitting barefoot on A floor of sand and eating the highly recomended tasteful chips. And dont forget the burger and always icecold beer. Thanks to The Craic House for holding my stomach satisfied the whole week. I’ll bee back. Greatings from Satisfied 65 Year old Norwegian.

Delicious food, great service and chill atmosphere

The Craic house is a very good restaurant. Tasty food to a reasonable price. Enjoying the breakfast whilst looking out to the white beach and blue sea is just the best way to start any day. Top notch service from the staff and you can see they all enjoy working there and it contributes to the great atmosphere. Parts of the menu is frequently changed giving the guests an opportunity to experience various dishes -no reason to spend time looking for other restaurants. A bottle of Prosecco at The Evolution beach in the sunset can also be recommended! Tina

Always fresh food

The food at The Craic House was always a pleasure to have. Everything was really fresh and extremely good. With a large menu that consists of fresh juices, shakes, sandwiches, burgers, pastas and veggie options it was always a new course to try out. They also have specials that changes two times a week wich was great. The bar girls were cute and helpful all the time and never messed up any orders. Everything was really clean and asured us of good hygiene. The restaurant is the perfect place to relax and get to know new people. Thumbs up, and no complaints about anything at this restaurant.

Ate here many times on my trip. Food was good, service and staff were professional. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed with the selection on the menu and like all restaurants on an island where everything is brought in from the mainland, a little pricy.

We visited here 5 years ago when we stumbled across the resort whilst walking around the island. The food and hospitality then was great so this year when we returned to the island we decided to stay there. We weren’t disappointed with anything - restaurant, food, service, rooms, diving. The restaurant serves great food which is consistently good, the service is brilliant - you don’t wait too long and the staff are so lovely. The location is perfect - you won’t find a better spot in the world to gaze out over the sea. Definitely recommend this place if you are visiting Malapascua.

Plastic Irish bar with bad service. Nil, go raibh maith agat

Have to say food was excellent, I had a burger which was the best I tasted on the island, this was let down however by the terrible service of waiting staff, they couldn’t be bothered to move. We had to approach them for our bill and often could not get there attention away from there phones. They tried the old trick of not having change, this has happened on both my visits, not impressed. As an Irishman abroad to me it was a failure, no Irish food on the menu, bunch of jokers! Its about as Irish as my girlfriend and she’s from CDO 😀 I know it’s low season but come on guys sort it out

Good vegan options, amazing staff, great atmosphere!

We stayed in the Evolution Dive Resort and ate most of our meals at the craic house during our stay on Malapascua. We contacted the owner Ralph prior to arriving and informed him we were vegan. When we arrived, he had already arranged with the chefs for us to choose between porridge and yummy hearty banana pancakes for breakfast. We had plenty of choice for lunch and dinner too! They even organised a fully vegan 5 course meal for Christmas Dinner! Most of all, the staff really make this place! They know your name within an hour and treat you like family.

Really good Restaurant at malapasqua island

We where staying for one week in the Evolution Dive Resort and ate every Day at the craic House. The food is not cheap, compared to the rest of the Island BUT the Service, the qualitiy and everything else is just amaizing at the craic. You get really decent westernish food here as well as some local dishes. We really appreciated eating here, we only tried to eat somewhere else but it was a onetimer...

A must visit, bit of peace on a tropical island

I stayed at Evolution Dive Resort for 6 days so the Craic House was our go to for breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. Our group got some of the best service that I've ever experienced. All staff quickly learnt our names and happily catered for any dietary requirements we had. They really did go above and beyond and the food and drinks were lovely! Big thanks to the chef for delivering so many great tasting meals throughout our stay! If you're on Malapascua, make sure you give this beautiful beach restaurant a visit. Its the perfect place to take in the beautiful scenery, on a much quieter part of the beach front. Thanks so much to all the team!!!

Best restaurant in Malapusca

We stayed at Evolution resort for 5 nights and had all our meals at The Craic house. The staff was extremely cheerful and courteous taking care of all our food preferences. We celebrated a birthday and they arranged for an awesome chocolate cake. They also set a table for our group on the beach with a custom menu. The menu has lot of options for vegans as well and they do customize the food in case you don't eat pork or beef or based on your spice levels. Would 100% recommend this place as it offers great value for money.

I had a wonderful time at the Craig House, the food was delicious, and the location was stunning. What truly stood out was the incredibly caring and helpful staff. They went above and beyond, even preparing a birthday cake and decorating the space for our celebration. It made our experience truly memorable.

Delicious food cooked with love

This place is perfect: the food is delicious and cooked with love, the service is the most kindest and the location is on a beautiful spot of Bounty Beach. They have so much choice on the menu that you have to come back multiple times. Also great choice of whiskey and cocktails. For me, special mention to juices and shakes and to the mango float ❤️

The Craic House is a totally brilliant restaurant, part of Evolution Dive Resort. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is a variety of eggs / bacon / fresh fruit. The mango juice is amazing. Lunch and dinner is the same menu but the choice is extensive and varies from light bites, sandwiches through to full meals. Everything is freshly prepared. In 8 days, I didn’t have a dud meal. Food is a mix of Philippine flavours and international choices - all delicious. On the drinks side, I can recommend the Margaritas and the Kalamasi juice. It’s touted as the best on the island of MALAPASCUA……& I can see no reason to disagree. Service is prompt, friendly & efficient. 10/10

Great food and cocktails

We came for dinner and it was delicious. We had the fish burger (even though we ordered chicken) and the fish curry, also an order of chicken wings. The cocktails were top notch and especially good value in happy hour. Thank you!

Great place, people and food

Came for a beer and stayed for food, more than once. The menu sounds great and tastes awesome. The staff are friendly and even helped me with my coral reef injuries. Thank you so much! View of the beach is good with tables on the beach or slightly further back. Music is at the perfect volume of good background music/noise but not annoyingly loud. Would happily come back time and time again.
