This restaurant has such a beautiful setting and it has a great bar area if you just want a snack. Outstanding food and their own wines area really excellent and very well priced. Can't stay in Menorca without putting this restaurant high on my list.
Made me ducking pay 3€ for a cup of syrup ???, the fois gras was served on the plastic and was too cold and hard , the waiter made no effort whatsoever to accommodate our food allergies , very pricey for dishes that you could...probably find at the supermarketMore
I have visited Binifadet many times, be that for a drink, an afternoon snack in the bar area or for a 3 course dinner. Year after year the service is always amazing. food fantastic and the wine even better. All in the most beautiful setting....If you go to Menorca, this needs to be on your list.More
Visited today for a special lunch for my 65th birthday. This year we have heard mixed things about Binifadet, so it has been good to try it out now the tourists have departed.
So, even in late autumn, the setting is pretty. The vines across...the terrace still have some leaves and it is a lovely space to enjoy a pre-dinner drink, before entering the small restaurant.
We ordered rustic bread and olives and beetroot and hummus dip to start. To follow we both ordered the solomillo with potatoes gratin and mushrooms. The streak had an excellent flavour, but we were confused as to why it was served sliced as opposed to a whole fillet streak each. To accompany, we had a bottle of red (2 Tancas). This is an excellent full bodied, mature red, although at 32€ a bottle, not an economical choice.
We didn’t fancy a desert on this occasion, but that was the end of any attempt at service. No offer of coffee or a complimentary liqueur to finish, which was a shame.
It was a good meal, but for the price at just over 100€ between the two of us, not the best. Menorca has so many excellent restaurants, but a lot are closed at the end of November, so choice is limited. However, to continue to compete, Binifadet needs to look hard at its prices compared to qualityMore
Although we have lived on the island for many years we had not actually visited the restaurant. It was November but the indoor dining room was open. What an amazing experience. Fantastic food and wine, really helpful, polite staff and all in all it was...a really wonderful evening. We will return again and will come in the summer too to be able to experience the outdoor dining.More
Amazing vineyard with delicious food. The staff is very attentive and the winds tasting is gorgeous. You can taste half glass of every selection of wine and sparkling wine. Highly recommended and to take time to enjoy!
We walked here from hotel Xuroy, and enjoyed a lovely tour of the vineyard followed by a yummy wine tasting. It was a fascinating tour but the wine was quite expensive so we didn't buy any. We did go to the bar afterwards though and...enjoy a nice Mahon gin and tonic. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but others from our tour did. Really lovely place to go for a special occasion, Someone at our hotel told me they had attended a wedding reception there - must have been fabulous.More
A vineyard tour, wine tasting and the most amazing setting, food and staff you will ever encounter.
Four ladies on a well deserved break visited this vineyard on September 19. We started with the vineyard tour, which was beautiful, fun and informative. This was followed...by a very generous wine tasting, which was not rushed nor did it include a ‘hard sell’. This was followed by the most amazing lunch in an idyllic setting under grapevines. One of our party has a severe allergy and this was not only accommodated but the chefs went out of their way to adapt a dessert so that she could have her first choice and not just have to endure any option.
The staff, from booking in, to tour guide, to serving staff and chefs were amazing - friendly and with a sense of fun and pride.
We arrived at 10.45 and left at 16.30 with a few bottles of their amazing wine- truly a marvellous day.
If you are on the Menorcan island a visit is a must. Go and enjoy.More
Our elder son and his new wife celebrated their wedding at Binifadet in September. The setting was just perfect with the service taking place in the vineyard itself. This was followed by drinks and amazing canapés prior to one of the best meals I have...ever enjoyed in a volume catering setting. (There were more than 90 guests to be fed!) With excellent service from a superb team of waiters and waitresses.
We have also eaten here on several occasions with friends in recent years and never once been disappointed by the food, the location or the service. It is highly recommended.More

We went there for the 11o'clock tour. The only English tour available was at 11 for the day, but if I'm not mistaken that was because of the season I visited (so it's worth your while to check just to be sure).
Both lunch or dinner would be great, although I went for lunch. The corbina fish was scrumptious, the fidua we shared was great and the pan con tomate was easily the best I've had.
