Restaurant and pizzeria located in the waterfront of Campofelice di Roccella over looking the sea, 10 km from Cefalu 'and 40 km. from Palermo. The restaurant has a dining room and a beautiful garden with lawn, in the countryside, between different types of ornamental plants. Table service, with tasting of wines and beers among the most 'important of the island wineries. Our cuisine is typically Mediterranean, with dishes ranging from seafood appetizers, pasta dishes and main courses and pizzas made with the best selections of flour (classic dough, flour Tumminia, Perciasacchi, Senator hats, Kamut etc.), With the process long leavening (72 hours) and use of chariot and yeast mother. A very warm welcome from Giuseppe, Margarita and owner Nino started the evening well! They recommended their mixed starter The Panaza and it was absolutely amazing. 10 or so different taste explosions all with a seafood theme and all fresh and delicious! (And the chef...has shared her wonderful Caponata recipe too.) The pizza was sublime, and again, thanks to Giuseppe's recommendations. And a delightful fresh organic Sicilian white wine (thanks to Giuseppe again) went perfectly with everything! If you're lucky, Nino will sing for you too! What a wonderful evening! We arrived quite late for dinner... the restaurant was half empty inside but little busy in the outside area. We were told we cannot sit outside as there is no table available. We asked whether we can have one just by the door, considering we...were with children and inside was quite hot and had poor ventilation! Our request was refused by the receptionist, she said that table was too big for our party! We asked whether is reserved, she said no but we cannot sit there as is too big for us! Working in the hospitality myself I could not believe there were so not bothered to talk to us that way! But the best (worst); was still to come .... Next, we are approched by most arrogant and rude waiter telling us we are better off ordering pizzas as we are going to wait for very long time if we choose other dishes! He then tried to push us into ordering the food he suggested!? All along he kept on saying the wait is going to be very long, like they could not be bothered to serve anything but pizza !! The wine we ordered was not available, so the waiter brought an other wine, which was more expensive, however he forgot to mention that!!! Serving the wine was a joke too... He poured a little in each glass then topped up the last glass nearly all the way to the top (we talking white wine in hot restaurant) finishing the rest of the bottle, not giving anyone any chance to have a top up!!! The only nice thing served was pizza and one of the pastas from the selection we have ordered. Mussels were far too salty and made with sauce that tasted like ketchup, yet nothing was done about it. I would not recommend this place if it was the only one around! Be aware that they also charge you table cover which is sort of service charge, they also charge this for little children that hardly have a proper meal! Even though we refused to pay this they still argued and insisted it has to be paid! There is so many other lovely places around and staff could not do enough for you, don't waste time and money at this one!More

Really lovely place, the food is absolutely gorgeous and fresh. The service is slow but really nice, they try very hard although not a lot of them speak english but still its great service. The back garden has a lot of tables, and it's just...very romantic and cosy. Pizza is to die for especially the one with stracciatela and pistacchios :)More

Came with high expectations based off the fact that there were Vegan and Gluten free options advertised, however got dissapointed by the fact that it turned out there were 0 Vegan options and most of the gluten free options were salad related ones. Please avoid...this Restaurant if you are Vegan, for your own good. Our main courses took 2 hours to arrive and were not even that good that it would warrant such a long waiting time. For a seafood restaurant, they had not even cleaned the mussles, which ended up leaving sand in most dishes containing mussles. After being confronted with the criticism of the mussles being unwashed and the food taking ages, the head waiter told us he would personally prefer to quit if it werent for his wife who works in the kitchen, he then decided to chat after delivering our meals making this meal a lot more awkward than needed. All in all came with high expectations but were met with underwhelming service and quality of food. Would not return.More

We were the first customers for the dinner (around 8pm). And we were lucky because right after we ordered, a group of 24 (!) local people entered. To us it seemed that they were given a priority compared to other customers. We had some troubles...to get our dishes even after reminding several times and we were not the only customers having the same problem. Otherwise the dishes were good. People seemed to take mostly pizza.More

Great food and excellent staff! We had a wonderful time! The lights weren’t working in the garden and so the tables were lit by candlelight (which was lovely) - the head waiter hilariously tried to light a huge candelabra for some other diners but the...the wind kept blowing the candles out - he was so funny and it was hilarious to watch - really made our evening! This restaurant is definitely not one to miss!More
