Very dissatisfied with the Thai food after travelling to Thailand on seven occasions and eating at many Thai restaurants this was overpriced and not authentic. The soup did not have the correct ingredients and was exceptionally creamy this was also a very similar sauce to...the green curry and massaman . Very tiny portions served with large dishes of rice at around 27 euros they were more like starters or tasters . It’s a shame as the place is amazing but as a family out for a special meal the food lacked anything special.More

Me and my friends visited for dinner back in August. I would recommend booking in advance as it gets booked up quickly. The food was fantastic, I would especially recommend the black cod, the lamb and the prawn fried rice. The restaurant is rather large...and there’s different areas you can sit; I would request to sit in the middle area as and when I return.More

I habe been to Bambuddha before and it is always a great experience. Even though there are several restaurants in Iniza offering high quality food and special cuisine, I always love coming back here. We shared 4 dishes among the two of us and had...the best Mezcal cocktails. Try it and you won’t be disappointed. The restaurant is not the cheapest but worth every Euro.More

We booked a dinner for two at the VIP Pagoda. The minimum spend and overall prices at the restaurant were steep, but we had a great experience. The interior is very nicely decorated and had a cool vibe. The VIP Pagoda was very unique and...private. The food was top notch, and our server Dani was a gem. Very kind and also gave us some good tips for our next night in Ibiza. I suggest the sushi, wok vegetables and of course the fusion bbq wagyu! Also, the cocktails were great.More

Not friendly! Overpriced. We were very dissapointed. Welcome was very cold. Not friendly, little arrogant and we felt pushed to spend. Not going back!

Another fantastic evening !!! We have been coming here for over 15 years, as a couple and now with our family . Yes it’s true it has changed , it has changed with the times I feel the vibe is the same Food is still...exceptional, service amazing (we were not rushed one bit even though we were late for our table due to lack of taxis), and ambience is the best. Our waiter was absolutely lovely as was the entire evening. As soon as we arrived they asked if the children still wanted chicken massaman as that was a request on my booking form! I had co olett forgotten I had even asked ! I see some people have mentioned being encouraged to order more plates or expensive wine, maybe we don’t look the type as it was quite the opposite for us . They told us not to order rice as there was plenty with the curry, and we ordered a cheap ish bottle of wine . It’s always a treat for us but one worth saving for !More

Four of us went to visit last week and we had been so looking forward to it. The restaurant itself is stunning and we were shown to the cocktail bar whilst waiting for our table, where we had some lovely drinks. Once we were at...our table, we were greeted by Valentino. He started out very friendly and recommended that we start our dinner with oysters and a £550 bottle of wine. Well we must have disappointed him with our choice of a cheaper bottle as after that, his welcoming attitude went out the window and he became very judgemental. We ordered around 6 dishes to share between us initially, to which he said it wouldn't be enough, and when we told him we would be ordering more he literally rolled his eyes and walked away. Valentino's attitude was quite frankly rude and incredibly damaging the the restaurant's reputation. To clarify we spent over £600 whilst at Bambudda so it's not like we went for a "cheap" night. The food was lovely, it was just a shame that our waiter let down the experience.More

Exactly 20 years since my first visit. It has matured and kept up with the style of Ibiza. Still a lovely looking venue, nice ambience and decent food. It wasn't extortionate, given the price rises everywhere, and we ate and drank well. No doubt I...will return again.More

Very disappointed with Bambuddha - was our first and will be our last visit here. Portion sizes are very small and ridiculously overpriced. I ordered the Malaysian scallop curry, was expecting a main dish for the price and instead received two very small scallops which...cost me just shy of 30 euros!! Dessert was just a few mouthfuls on a huge plate, which didn’t match the description on the menu. Lack of aircon also made for a hot and uncomfortable evening. Toilets not well signposted, took us 10 mins to actually find them and had to direct a few people on our way who had got lost! Also find it very odd that there is a lot of pornographic imagery and paraphernalia everywhere - in the menus, in the toilets, on the walls; however this is not explained, so the whole aesthetic just seems off. There were also lots of families dining there with small children so didn’t seem appropriate. Nice setting, lovely cocktails and staff very friendly / attentive, just a real shame that this place is let down by overpriced, distinctly average food.More

I don’t like to focus too much on negativity but I can’t understand some of the recent reviews of Bambuddah I’ve read! Enjoyed a great experience last night, Bambuddah is typical of the wow factor many places in Ibiza deliver. Food was delicious, service was...charming and informative but the location and vibe is most memorable as it’s truly unique. We loved Bambuddah!More

Given the recent negative reviews we were naturally apprehensive about visiting Bambudda. Fortunately we needn’t have been concerned. We would have been running late for our reservation and the staff very helpfully moved our booking until later that evening which we really appreciated at late...notice. The venue in itself is a unique experience and absolutely stunning. Lots of photo opportunities. We were expecting extortionate prices after reading the reviews. Ibiza is expensive and the prices were in keeping with other quality restaurants and beach clubs so very comparable and not unreasonable. The food was excellent quality, and the waiter took time to go through the various elements of some of the dishes which we had not tried before. A full house of empty plates! On leaving a taxi was booked for us taking the hassle out of the evening. Overall a 10/10 was given by the whole party ranging which included children, teenagers and adults. We would definitely return and hope to on our next visit to Ibiza!!More

We attended this evening with friends as a family with three children and my baby son between us. My son was falling asleep in a carrier on me and crying. I was on my way outside to settle him when I was aggressively approached by...a man at my table who I later discovered was the owner (his son now manages the place). He squared up to my face, spat at me whilst shouting at me and told me I need to do something about my crying baby, and that he needs to be removed from the restaurant. I politely asked him to walk away from my table. He continued to aggressively shout at me making me feel scared and uncomfortable. I walked out. Whilst I had walked out, he tried to start a fight with my husband, saying ‘go on, go on then’ trying to provoke him. All of this in front of our young children who were so frightened. My five year old daughter ran out with me in tears and asking ‘why the bad man was shouting at us.’ This mans behaviour made me feel sick and appalled. It is a shame because the staff are so courteous, polite and hard working. Even they were in shock, embarrassed and so were all of the tables around us. I couldn’t believe it. The staff apologised so sincerely after the incident even though they were nothing but kind and accommodating. The man came over later to say ‘sorry’ but it did not feel sincere at all and felt it was more for show and damage control because of his behaviour in front of such a big crowd. He told me he ‘loves babies’ which says it all really. I was offered a free drink as an apology to make up for it which I said no thank you to. NEVER go to this place. Nobody deserves to be treated like this and made to feel the way I did tonight. We should have walked out but we had made such an effort to get to the restaurant for a special occasion so we stayed. Unfortunately it was the furthest thing from special.More

Restaurant was located in the middle of nowhere but good in a way as it encourages you to sit and really enjoy the meal without rushing off. Food was great - as was the atmosphere. Only criticism- they could do with some aircon as the...fans set-up just blow hot air around the indoor section.More
