We have visited here twice in the last couple of weeks. It’s a great bar / ale house. Good selection of drinks, reasonably priced and served by great, welcoming staff. In my opinion, there is nothing to dislike about this fantastic place. Make the effort...to try it out, you won’t be disappointed.More

Love this place, friendly and welcoming staff and a good selection of drinks. It's small inside, but there's outside tables too. People you sit next to are usually open for a chat and you can take your dog.

This has to be, in my opinion the best pub in Ingleton we visited. What a cracking little find, on our first night. Excellent place to enjoy a few drinks, in a lovely friendly and relaxed setting, Great choice of craft beers, ales and gins,...something to suit everyone's taste. The OPO is a one-off due to its truly individual character, charm and amazing friendly staff. We visited here a few times, during our stay and loved if every time. If you haven't visited here yet, please do, you won't be disappointed.More

So, my partner and I had just finished a grueling 18 mile, 2 peak walk of Ingleborough and Whernside. On our return, we stopped in to the Old Post Office bar, our second visit in as many days. We walked in and were greeted by...the owner and staff, they remembered us from the day before. They were very welcoming and were a sight for sore eyes and a welcoming place to sit and rest our weary feet. The whole experience at OPO is amazing, so effortless, so easy and so querky.....in a very good way. Definitely, definitely stop in for a drink, you'll love the place. OPO is our new local, and we live in Kent. Need I say more?More

Fab little bar! We were in Ingleton for our mini-moon and discovered this place and spent a good deal of time there on our 2 night stay! Friendly staff, good beer, good wine and good beer garden. Even our pooch made himself at home. Just...a shame it’s 2.5 hours from home as we would definitely become regulars if it was near to us.More

It's difficult to define exactly what makes this my favourite bar, is it the fantastic vibes and decoration inside this quirky microbar? is it the excellent selection of craft beer both on tap and from the fridge? the great wine? the fantastic cocktails? or the...fact you can bring your soggy dog in with you after crawling off a hard day's work in the dales? It might also be the amazing and friendly owners Rob and Adam who's enthusiasm and welcoming personalities created such a popular place under the shadow of the Yorkshire dales National Park. Ably assisted by Aran of course. Whatever it is, it's just that, my favourite Bar. One I'm almost relieved isn't a quick journey away or I think I'd have a problem. Whether you be in Ingleton for the waterfalls, fells or just for a mooch you HAVE to pop into The OPO Bar, you really do arrive as strangers and leave as friends and the you'd be very much missing out on seeing a unique business. Plus the beer is really good.More
