Sunset dinner on the caldera in Imerovigli

Throubi had a beautiful caldera view of the sunset and Oia at night from this serene fine dining restaurant. Although the evening threatened rain with clouds, we were able to sit outside and enjoy the evening sky and lights of Oia with blankets provided by our attentive waiter. We enjoyed the degustation menu with the wine pairing. The flavors and food were delicious and service was wonderful. With a sunset view, Throubi would be an amazing dinner location. This is a high price point experience- for the wine pairing or by the bottle. It is recommended if looking for fine dining in Santorini on the caldera. The resort was beautiful as we walked through it on our way to dinner.

Wonderful evening

Thank you very much for this wonderful evening. The ambience is beautiful and the view breathtaking, so the setting could hardly be better. When it came to choosing the food, we were very well advised by our waitress and then informed about the drinks menu by the more than competent sommelier. We opted for the menu with wine accompaniment and were not disappointed. Wonderful courses that were not only beautiful to look at but also tasted great, the wine accompaniment made the taste experience perfect. Many thanks for this unforgettable evening on Santorini and the warm hospitality.

Very good but too expensive

The setting is magnificent, with a view of the sunset and a peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle. The service is very consistent with the style of the restaurant. The food is good, however, the prices charged are extremely high, for example a cocktail or a glass of wine costs €25 and the average price of a dish costs €45. Unlike the French "gastro", the sides do not follow: no appetizer or sweets, no unlimited bread, and the quantities are too small. With a main course and a dessert, we come out with the end in our stomachs. This illustrates the abuses on the island...

Great food at exaggerated prices

Food was very good but quality - price ratio was not. This meal without bottle of wine, without digestives drinks, without desserts and coffees was more than 400 Euros either tips. This was too much for a 2 service meal either small portions.

Excellent restaurant

Great food and excellent service from the restaurant staff! The dishes were all very beautiful and delicious as were the cocktails we got Margarita, the restaurant's sommelier, was excellent in her suggestions for their wines and the sparkling wine we chose matched perfectly with the dishes we got! This experience was definitely worth it.

Family gathering with an amazing view!

Great setting and an amazing view esp at Sunset - it can get breezy if the wind is blowing. The food and wines were very good and with attentive service and explanation of all the items we ordered. The mixologist was very informative and the menu was broad enough to keep our large group happy, however, serving sizes were not very big for the hungry ones. The wine list was extensive (and quite expensive). All in all, a very pleasant dining experience, but by far the most expensive meal our group had in Santorini in the 6 days we were visiting. Thanks to the Throubi team!!

Gorgeous sunset views over the water

We visited this restaurant overlooking the caldera and the sunset for a later evening dinner. Everything was prepared perfectly and was rich in flavor. We enjoyed great drinks and a meal and the staff were very friendly and even offer a blanket if you catch a chill since the wind was picking up outdoors. Portions are very small for the price but cooked perfectly. My wife and I both had fish.

Best sunset experience

A unique place to spend your time in a very beautiful minimal hotel! The best spot on the island to watch the sunset while enjoying some of the tastiest cocktails. The food served there is the most flavourful I’ve ever tasted, with not only local ingredients as the staff informed us but also from their beautiful garden on display! The service staff is very attentive with good knowledge of their product always serving you politely and smiling! A must visit place when in Santorini!

Highly Recommend, Exceptional Service

Dinner exceeded our expectations. Our server George was attentive, and he gave great recommendations to ensure that we enjoyed local dishes (and he was right every time). We highly recommend the wild mushrooms appetizer, and don't skip the panna cotta for dessert. The atmosphere was spectacular as the sun set during dinner, and our server offered to take lots of pictures for us. We were offered blankets in case we were cold - the service was really just exceptional all around!

Dinner at Throubi is an experience I won't soon forget. The view of the sunset from the restaurant terrace was breathtaking, not only in itself, but also thanks to the wonderful decor and architecture of the place. In my opinion, the tasting menu is the best option because it gives you the opportunity to try several very sophisticated dishes, each of which surprised us with its combination of flavors and textures. All of them drew heavily from local cuisine and herbs, even local to Santorini and not the whole of Greece. The service maintained a perfect balance between class and etiquette typical of such a place, as well as a friendly and open approach to the customer. I recommend

We visited the restaurant for a friendly dinner. We had a few starters with unique ingredients from the garden of the property, followed up by delicious main courses which included both meat and fish options. During the whole meal we enjoyed the whole cocktail list, which was exquisite. The staff was friendly, professional and provided us all the information so that our experience could remain memorable

First I want to start with the amazing location that the whole hotel and the restaurant is based, everything is just beautiful. As you enter the hotel you will see the quality and the beauty that this hotel offers to their guests combined with a warm welcome. Also you will see the gardens that they are growing local ingredients, by putting all that effort to bring to the table such a high level of gastronomy is just admirable and personally I couldn’t recommend just one or two dishes because everything we order form the cocktails to the food was very tasty, balanced and plated so carefully until the last detail. By the end with all those big and small details that made our dinner so beautiful we had with our side Mr.Ioannis that made our night even more special and beautiful.
