Just returned from a fun evening with my husband and two teenage daughters. Dinner was really delicious. We’ve been here before, several years again, and it was even better than our last visit. The service was especially notable. Alberto Louis is as helpful, efficient and...charming. All servers could learn from him.More

This small plate dining experience was new for me and it was fun! We ordered several items from the menu after asking for recommendations from our waiter. As a group, we ordered the Sombrero (under the "salad" category but take note there was actually no...lettuce), Seabass, Vaca (beef arepa), and Gallinita (chicken arepa). We ordered Chocolate in the Jungle, Roasted Bananitas and Ice Cream Truffles for dessert. Since I didn't know what to expect, I was surprised at how small the "shared" portions were, especially with the price tag attached. Having said that, it was all quite filling. And since they are able to cook things so quickly after ordering, you can order one or two items and then see if you'd like to order more. That's what we did. I think everyone enjoyed the food they tasted. I did not taste the Seabass but was told it was delicious! The favorite of several folks at the table was the Vaca. As much as we enjoyed the food, we enjoyed the desserts even more. The Roasted Bananitas (bananas foster) was amazing and I could eat the ice cream truffles all day! Lastly, the wait staff was over the top fun, which made the entire experience even more memorable! I would definitely enjoy the small plate experience again, especially at Chao Pescao!More

Finally, at the end of our stay at Andaz, we discovered our most enjoyable dining experience. It was a relaxed atmosphere with a great view of the Marina and the full moon! The food was excellent and the drinks were fun! Dessert was exceptional. We...rate this food experience above all others in the resort. Wish we had sound it sooner. No reservations needed. A walk or a golf cart ride! You will want to go more than once!More

You know service is good when, after a year since our last visit and with no prior reservation, we walked in and the restaurant manager (Francisco) greeted us and remembered my husband's first name. It's hard to know who is your server because the entire...team shares in bringing food, clearing plates, refilling water, etc. The dishes are served on small plates but it's so hearty that three, and sometimes even two dishes are sufficient to share between two people and feel more than satisfied. Over three days, we enjoyed the following: Sea Bass, Spicy Salad, Vaca, Gallanita, Chiffa Tuna, and another Chef's special with red snapper (can't remember the name). Wine pours are very small; however, cocktails prepared by Pina (mixologist) were creative, delicious, and were a better value. Every drink we saw was unique. It's good for couples and can also accommodate larger parties. Come on a night with live music for a special, festive treat!More

4 adults. Tried 4 plates and went family style. Everything was fresh, unique, and above all tasty! Service is top notch, upscale yet casual. There is a true Mixologist on staff. Pina is a master and champion mixer of truly unique cocktails. We took the...Mixology class at Chao and were blown away. A gem hidden on the penninsula!More

This place is great for tapas and great drinks, loved sitting at the bar and watching the amazing mixologists make unbelievable unique cocktails. One nights they had live music that was the perfect icing on the cake for an unforgettable night out.

The drinks and cocktails at Chao Pescao are good. Food and tapas were also good. The pork belly was excellent. Would make it a bit louder as it was to calm for bar or lounge.

Chao Pescao really impressed on a recent visit! All three primary facets of a great dining experience- food, drinks and service- all really shone. On our first visit we chose our selections and were very happy, on our subsequent visits we took some recommendations from...our server and were equally pleased. Chao Pescao is easily the most consistent choice on site at the Andaz.More

We were happy to try the Tapas bar for dinner and drinks. We sat at the bar and enjoyed our meal and watching the bartenders make some incredible looking drinks! Try the Chao salad for starters. Delicious! We enjoyed our meal so much we went...back a second night! They even have a live band on some nights. Compliments to Alfredo for being so welcoming!More
