Good service deserves to be recognised. Firstly they catered for my gluten free SO without a problem.
Secondly, there was a mixup with my order and I received bacon instead of salmon. I had slept terribly the night before and the error was probably my fault when I ordered. Regardless, they offered to remake my meal for me and were incredibly hospitable. (I’m a pescatarian, otherwise I would’ve happily eaten it).
We ordered the chocolate espresso cake so we could break our $50 and leave a tip (not because we wanted the cake, of course). It was light and a bit too easy to eat.
Would recommend for everyone when in Mogo.

As part of supporting our South Coast after the bushfires we visited Mogo on the day their Zoo was reopening.
An early start at Grumpy's provided great coffee as well as very enjoyable breakfast.
The service is very efficient , friendly & thankful of everyone's support.
The meals were delivered quickly & with a genuine interest in our enjoyment.
The morning became very busy with nothing being a trouble to the wonderful staff .
Great spot !

Recommended. Good breakfast special of poached eggs, pesto sour dough toast and roasted tomatoes. Chai tea was good, and the service was friendly and quick. Couldn't ask for more. Thanks

First of all this place is open.
This place was absolutely amazing the staff were the friendliest the coffees sensational the eggs Benedict was to die for my daughter absolutely loved the scrambled eggs she keeps on asking for more a week later. While in Mogo or even just passing through do yourself a favour come in and enjoy a fantastic meal

Stopped in for lunch when travelling south. Extremely friendly service and excellent CoVid protocols in place. The rear garden was delightful.
Decided to share the Thai salad with chicken. Without requesting it came in separate bowls, which shows excellent customer service. The salad was excellent with the freshest salad, crunchy beans shoots and nicely flavoured chicken. The dressing was perfect. Portion size being halved was just the right amount for lunch. Washed it down with a chilled Chardonnay which was served in quality glasses.
Didn’t have time to try the coffee but will stop on way back up coast.

We visited Mogo just after the devestating fires went through, so we tried to eat or purchase something in most of the stores. The cafe being the one we selected for afternoon tea. The chocolate cake was very dry but the Lumberjack cake was yum, service was good and the staff at the front counter lovely.
Great place to stop for a coffee or 2 and especially the Lumberjack Cake

Great food and coffee with minimal wait and extensive cleaning makes this a great place to stop by. Mogo and surrounding areas were badly affected by the fires but the staff here were friendly and welcoming. Nothing was a problem. Highly recommended

My husband and I had our Lunch here during our recent Mogo trip. And while their name says Grumpy, the lovely staff here is a total opposite! They are very warm, friendly and super helpful! Food was scrumptious too and reasonably priced. We had the Double Egg & Bacon Roll, Beef Burger, Zucchini Fritters (our fav!) and Strawberry Milkshake.
Important to note as well how we appreciate that their menu cards are single use. You take one upon entry and bring it back to the counter when you order so they could probably sanitize it after each use.
We will definitely come back next time and suggest this place as well to our friends heading to South Coast!

We have been coming here over the last few years each time we visit Mogo Zoo to complete our perfect day outing. Service and attentiveness of staff is excellent and has a Menu with many choices to satisfy anyone. It is great to be able to order at the counter in your own time (many signs and greeter advises on entry) and just add's to the ambiance of relaxing and just chilling in the sun or under the umbrella's of the outdoor dining area. The inside dining area is also thoughtfully arranged and hence offers the alternative to outside with subdued lighting.

Excellent service, consistently good, creative fresh food and the best coffee. The quinoa fritters are my favourite but the Thai chicken salad is my husband’s favourite. The cakes are also delicious.

We recently had lunch here, ordered the buddha bowl with chicken, zucchini and corn fritters along with fresh juice and thick shake.
The meals were delicious, fresh and tasty. The drinks were nice too, we enjoyed our lunch here and would definitely return when in Mogo.

Excellent food with a wonderful atmosphere. The crunchy Thai noodle salad was delicious and the children’s baked beans on toast had homemade baked beans. Great portion sizes! Fantastic Covid-19 cleaning and practices

This place was a wonderful stop off for lunch after a trip to the zoo. The food is amazingly fresh the staff are warm and welcoming. The coffee is amazing. I had a beautiful sandwich so freshly made and loads of filling other had a toastie again freshly made and just delicious. It was really nice place and well worth a visit. Sit outside or in. Definitely recommend.

The staff are always friendly and knowledgable of the menu. They're great for vegetarian dishes or offering vegetarian options! The baked beans with haloumi was tasty and super filling. Even sitting outside on a sunny autumn morning with a good cuppa was cosy!

Been here lots of times over the last two years and we are never disappointed. Big breakfast is sensational and they always cater to my extra wants on a toasted sandwich.
I asked for bacon chicken cheese and avo today and certainly wasn’t disappointed when a huge bacon and chicken filled sandwich landed on the table. We love grumpy and sweethearts xx
