Whilst visiting Mogo recently, we called in to the Mogo Ice Creamery and Fudge cafe for a coffee and treat. We are always happy when we visit here with their coffees and this time for our treat, we chose a muffin which was served warm with a dob of cream and was delightful. As a covid safe precaution, the management provides hand sanitising on each table, which is good to see. Top marks to them. The courtyard area of the cafe is a pleasant area to relax and enjoy your selection of food and coffee.

We came here after visiting the botanic gardens for lunch. My son enjoyed his chicken salad sandwich with a cool drink, I enjoyed my pot of green tea with scones with jam and cream. We also grabbed some fudge and other bits and pieces also before heading off.

Impeccable service. As there is nowhere in Mogo to get an egg & bacon breakfast, we decided on toasted focaccia here. I had the veggie one & hubby the Mogo special (chicken, avo, cheese). Both delicious & served with a fresh salad . Selection of local fudge & cakes and slices also delicious!

Visited Mogo and had lunch at this establishment. Ordered the vegetarian nachos and meat pies. The pies were pleasent but as for the nachos, an absolute standout worst nachos we have ever had. Not sure where you learnt to put orange cheese spread to simulate melted cheese on nachos but was disgusting. No warmth at all present, nor love. Most of the dish was left and pissed off after $13 price.

I have eaten at this cafe twice. The first time was an enjoyable experience with my son. We arrived at midday and both had nachos. No complaints really.
The second time, i arrived at 2 pm with the whole family on tow. Went in to order lunch and were told they had stopped serving lunch as it just been so busy they needed the break. I couldn’t believe they had staff standing there doing nothing whilst customers were being turned away. Absolutely unbelievable.

Unfortunately this venue has gone down in my opinion. My wife and I used to enjoy lunch there on a fairly regular basis but after today I don’t think we’ll be back again. The hot food was lukewarm, they no longer serve coffee in pottery cups, food on proper dishes or metal cutlery. It’s all paper and wood. No longer a pleasant experience.

the service is great at this little cafe. the pies are great and the cakes are lovely too. the home made fudge is just lovely with lots of flavours to choose from.
There is also a great selection of old fashioned lollies and treats as well as ice creams.

Recently, we visited Mogo and had a nice coffee break at the Mogo Ice Creamery and Fudge courtyard cafe. We enjoyed a coffee with a really tasty chocolate brownie. We sat in the outside courtyard area which is very welcoming, and in these covid times, plenty of space between tables. Good service and tasty coffee, along with the beautiful chocolate brownie.

Enjoyed a light lunch as the kitchen had closed for the day. But had frittata and scones which were enjoyable.
Treated ourselves to some very good maple walnut fudge which being from the other side of the big bond I found just as good if not better than some made back home.
Very enjoyable.

Apart from the ice cream and fudge there is a huge assortment of other lollies to buy (and some tourist knick nack stuff). Worth a stop even if you haven't got a sweet tooth. Good for gifts of sweets to others.

Great coffee and cakes/pies. Owner very helpful when I forgot to order for my wife! He gave her coffee and and a nice cake for free! Lots of other treats available. Good seating in outside courtyard. Clean amenities. Caravan and long parking just at the rear. Turn left at the creek at the southern end of town and then left again into large carpark for all rigs.

New Management and opened 5 days ago, brilliant new decor, decorated like an American 1950’s diner. Hope they do well. Great service and lovely atmosphere. We will definitely call in again if going this way. Good luck in the new business.

This is a one stop sweet ice cream fudge shop!
Very good place to look at as many options.
Sweet treats for young and old would have liked to spend longer here!
