The food was just okay but not much on the plate (except for the frozen fries) but the service was pretty bad. After a long wait (almost 1 hour!) between starters and mains the waiter noticed that they forgot us. It’s a mistake and it...can happen. However, when the bill came, they did not do anything and said that it was normal and it can happen. I tried to explain that just offering us one of the 3€ sangria will be enough, just to acknowledge the mistake and apologise but it was the complete opposite reaction. We left the place with a really bitter sweet feeling. These people don’t know how to do business and what Service means.More

And we got it here. I like pintxos but the others wanted something more and a place we could sit down. The interior is simple and unassuming. We found the service good and the food filling. Our server did not speak English but it was...ok. I had the cod dinner which was good but a tad salty. The others had sandwich and burger. Both were happy with their choices. Great place.More

I'm ashamed to say my Spanish and Basque is almost existent. The staff didn't speak English or French so it was all a bit of an adventure- but great fun! We had a mixture of hot and cold Pinxtos which were just fab (the tuna...in the onion was delicious!). I wasn't quite sure what I was ordering as the blackboard menu was in Basque. Some folks at neighbouring tables were obviously enjoying their mussels so I ordered them by pointing them out on the Spanish menu. Absolutely gorgeous! We wanted some bread so I pointed to bread at another table- big mistake! The server brought a plate of octopus. It was tasty but we were already pretty full. Anyway, the servers were fab and good humoured and made the whole meal a great experience. Local beer served was excellent and the house white wine was sumptuous. Would definitely return!More

Nice place, kind staff (they’re even nicer if you speak Spanish, which I don’t), great food! Probably one of the best calamaris I have ever eaten, and I have eaten a lot... Also try their pinchos, yummy!

We came here as Gran Sol closed for holidays. Food was excellent and we sat on a nice outside terrace. We had steak and chicken and a most amazing cheese tapas. It tasted like stilton with a different cheese on top and toasted.

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and heard about different places to eat this evening.. we were recommended to try the pintos bar at Itsaspe where bite sized fare was available at the bat, we eased our way into place and joined the other patrons...choosing various dishes..all were very tasty and The enthusiasm of all the patrons made the whole evening a grand success... we will be here again tomorrow to sample further items in this new cuisine to us.. the comradely with other dinners was much to our liking. A very heartwarming experience.. the surrounding street full of pedestrians in search of an interesting evening experience was vibrant with very positive energyMore

We went for tapas and picked out several different kinds. All of them were very good. We don't speak much Spanish and the wait person was very helpful.

We waited with 3 people. After 45 minutes we left because the waiters were very impolite and didn't even ask for drinks yet. We only got 2 forks and knives, my fork even had some food left on it. Only food I saw that afternoon.

If you are into seafood - this is a nice touch to the simple but good kitchen. Simple dishes served super fresh cooked made from super fresh raw materials. We had muscles, squids etc. You could tell that it was all homemade and cooked to...serve. This along with a small selection af Spanish craft beer!More
