Great service along with tasty dishes.

Although we barely speak Spanish and the waitresses no English, the older waitress (probably head of staff) was very careful in tryjng to explain what we would get. - croquettes we really the best Spanish ones we tried, not as meaty as normal, nice creamy...and bits of ibérico - solomillo ibérico was definitely a favourite, the kids loved the patatoes so we ordered extra - the lasagna is really full of meat, with a slight gamey flavour ... interesting, but you have to like the gamey flavour - risotto had a rich taste, probably induced with ibérico broth, rich mushroom flavour The ladies of the staff kept coming by and asking if we needed something more. Really outstanding service, despite us not being able to speak Spanish. We shared everything and that's how I think the dishes are meant. We will definitely come back and try more!More

Good menu

Good menu where You for 45€ get to taste many small with 3 glass of wine included. En satisfactury hvite glass of Rueda, a glass of red (house wine, origin unknown) that was a bit too sweet and vulgar and a glas of PX from...Montilla that was ordinary. Wine list does not give info about the vintages and also not info about the exact wine (for example Finca Moncloa makes many different version) and is a bit disapointing. All in all a pleasant meal that could even better if with better wines...More

Very enjoyable place

After a splendid visit to Gruta las Maravillas we headed for the lunch to this lovely restaurant. It was almost full (should be reserved in advance). The waiters were very efficient. The meals looked beautiful, were very generous and delicious. The waitress saw we don't...speak Spanish well, so she explained slowly and by using all means to make sure we understand what we ordered. The restaurant was full of locals and we felt 100% authentic. Lovely, highly recommendable.More

Simply devine

Had read about the restaurant on trip advisor and was not disappointed. Fresh local and seasonal food which was cooked to perfection and served with a smile.Could you ask for more. We have limited Spanish and had fun with staff translating the menu, especially the...daily specials . Had wonderful prawns a la plancha and mushroom risotto that was he best l have ever tasted. Enjoyed it so much we returned for lunch again the next day. Do reserve to guarantee a table and check opening times. Finally l feel the food was really well priced.More

Great service

We had a lovely meal. Lasagne and burger. With 2 drinks each plus ocean cream came to 40€ it was very good quality food. And the service was excellent. A lovely waitress did her best to be attentive and helpful despite not speaking good English....We sat outside and watched the world go by. But inside looked lovely too and was cool on a hot day. Faultless

Ate here twice while on July 2018 holiday in Arecena. Lucky to get a table first time, booked second time. Food is delicious, and lots of it, at very reasonable prices considering the plush interior. Highly recommended. Even although our Spanish is VERY poor, the...staff could not have been more helpful.More
