We had a lovely evening, we found the restaurant again by chance, it used to be in the city and is now a bit hidden, but at the new location it is much quieter and you can sit outside. The food and service were great as always. You can eat and drink delicious Italian food here. We will definitely come back.

Nice, quiet atmosphere. Pizza is decent. Gnochi qood, Parmiagan gòod. Lasagna very good. Chocolate Mousse and orher desserts gòod if the dessert portions are a bit small. Staff extremely friendly if a bit shy and reasonably attentive.

Amazing Italian food, the servings are epic and the taste is exactly what you need if you’re missing some European food.
We had the carbonara and the puttanesca and the flavours we delightful. The carbonara was rich and creamy with a subtle smoked flavour from the bacon. The puttanesca was salty, tangy and just a little spicy.
The burka shakes we amazing, although I wish they didn’t use plastic straws.

since four years back the food quality has been going down to a really low level. nothing is fresh nor italian. cold cuts are from the local cheap market, pizza is nowhere near what was before. its more like a frozen version of it with again cheap local cold cuts. half of the items are constantly missing from the menu. before was a pleasure to go there and have a taste of my own Country, now its just not worth. only good thing is the service, friendly and efficient. and they also stop accepting credit cards lately. best to grab a burger at McD. at least its junk and you know it.

When Pasta King moved from Locsin Street to Barangay Bantayan, I was concerned that the quality might change. IT DID! Portions were immediately smaller and the atmosphere went from quaint restaurant to "industrial". But those are minor reasons for the fact that, after over 5 years as a recurrent customer, I will NEVER dine there again. At lunch about a week ago, one of my table mates was served an entree with a long hair obviously laying on top. That is too disgusting. He returned it and refused anything else from that kitchen. In retrospect, the rest of us should have done the same. There was no apologie until we were ready to leave. They took his entree off the bill...big deal since he didn't touch it anyway. But we demanded to see the manager and she came down seeming a bit annoyed at having been called from her office to deal with mere customers. She did apologize, and as I left I promised her this review.

After several days in town and having been battered by the poor quality of the food here to the extent that McDonald's was beginning to look like a candidate for a Michelen Star, I tried this place on the assumption that Pasta might be ok. Well it was, even better than OK! The salads are fresh and the pasta sauces about what you would expect. Anywhere else it might have rated a good but it has been so long since I have been able to sit down to an edible meal I got carried away and gave it a very good. Cut me a little slack. I will be here for a while so now to test reliability.

It's called pasta King, but it does not live up to The name. It hade zero love but in too make The dishes and it didnt taste good. It took them 2 minutes from order to have The food on The table. You cant coock that fast with out everything being just heated up.

Boss, you should come back from Italy or somewhere else to train your staff how to cook, how to be polite and professional.

Ordered the overload pizza (see pic) and carbonara.
Pizza was ok for a local/provincial based pizza resto. Presentation was good. Not really outstanding. Just ok. Carbonara was a creamy but a lil bland.
Service was good though.
Will not come back.

Don't be fooled by the unassuming facade. This place has an authentic Italian surprises inside.
The pizza and pasta were just superbly great. They taste way better than the other pizza houses and the portions were quite generous!
I even brought friends to dine there when i visited Dumaguete again, a month after.
