All in all, very underwhelming, poor experience, and at 2,000, extremely disappointing and poor value for money even with the platters. Just a place to wow visitors with decors

Just a fastfood filipino restaurant. so much more better places in Dumaguete, unbelievable this is at 3rd place of best restaurants.
Ooooh, I love the grills. My Mom was shocked when I get her a take out. Its a fun place and chill. Crowded makes it more attractive.
I last ate at Mooon Cafe at Robinsons Place (now closed) and it was very good back then. Move forward three years and we have Mooon Cafe in the downtown. I was extremely disappointed with the whole experience. You had one chance and you completely...blew it. Staff too busy having fun to serve the customers, etc. There's another Mooon at North Point which I'm guessing is much better as it's much bigger and newer, but unfortunately this disappointing experience will remain fresh in my kind for a while to come.More
The food was good, nice environment they are approachable. they have connection with their guest.good communication skills in dealing with their guest.
There is the evidence before your eyes - always busy, often full. Just up there with the best value for money. Consistently good, consistently value for money - real professionals!
Now in the main this place produces a Filipino version of Mexican food. It resembles Mexican food a little but comes nowhere near the quality of the Mexican Food available in little holes in a wall in most cities in the south west US. I...went here because it was listed as a place here I might be able to get a decent steak. Oh no not again? Well yes sorry about that! The stalk was tough, heavily salted and nearly raw (blue by a real restaurant standards) even though I requested medium. I was desperate for a good steak having been deprived of a decent meal for the weeks I have spent in the Philippines and I left half of it.The shrimp I expected might be fresh but were the quality of a frozen tv dinner in a heavily oiled sauce. Noe having said all of that some of the other items on the menu which I observed being served looked reasonable so I will give the place the benefit of the doubt, but there is no salvation here.More
Fantastic. Ordered promptly, onion rings delivered hot and tasty. Even before the mains (requested). Main of chicken fajitas (serves 3) delivered hot and was very tasty. Order of 2 additional fajita was prompt and hot (enough meat for 5 fajita). This is among the best...Filipino restaurants I have eaten at. Congratulations to the management and the staff. Great experience.More
This place serves darn good food, sometimes you can wait a while for your grub to arrive but it's worth waiting for.
Went midweek at back of Robinson’s shopping mall , very busy I think not been open that long , very large portions and cost not bad , they only problem was everthink was a bit greasy , big portions, good staff , good service ,...would go again at a quieter timeMore
Worth the price & the ambiance was perfect for a whole family. Indeed, we eat just like we are in our home but away from home.
Had lunch there 3 times over last year and was not impressed . many say they like their steaks but the one i ordered was tough as shoe leather; and do not order their tacos ...very bad. Maybe i just had a bad experience ,...but Im never going backMore
We had a problem with one of our orders but the crew were very friendly and apologetic and took care of the issue right away! The food is good and with a reasonable price as well.
My wife and I had brunch here this past Sunday, and we've been there many times over the years, now more than a dozen in Dumaguete. The place was crowded mostly with locals, taking a break from their shopping at the Mall. The menu often...describes its offerings as Mexican, but they are Filipino flavored, and thus generally the sauces are sweeter and creamier than what you find at least in Tex-Mex places in the USA. We had chicken faijitas and buffalo wings as well as a nice salad. The food is always delicious here and in generous portions; lovely decor; very friendly and efficient staff. You can't go wrong at the Mooon Cafe.More
Good menu list and quality good. On primetime too busy due to the good food. Portions can be biggerin my view but overall OK
