The service was egregiously slow, but the chicken was pretty tasty. We came at almost 8pm on a weekday and the whole two stories were full, with a waitlist of 5 people. They gave a hefty serving of rice, more than you have chicken for,...even. But that might be a plus for some people. It doesn't break the bank and there's parking right across the street, so I can't exactly complain. Flavorful chicken seasoned just the way I like trumps all other cons.More

Interesting that a chicken joint doesn't have any chicken. Was told that only pork and beef were available. The Good: Lechon kiwali tasted good. The Not So Good: Unfriendly vibe Not so clean Dingy atmosphere When asked if the ice used to make the watermelon...shake was from filtered water or tap water, I was told tapMore

Our experience was a painful 2 star at Jo’s. While the specialty chicken bbq and beef steak was so so it was the rude lazy waiters that ruined it for us. We always had to stand up to look for anyone to take our order...only to find them always grouped up at the back gossiping on their phones! I made the mistake of complaining because they responded with hostility! Lunch ruined!More

We were told that the chicken here is really good. They did not lie! It is very good that I can actually eat more. This restaurant is located near the university. It was dinner time and the place is quite busy. The ground floor can...be warm hence the upper floor is usually packed as it is air-conditioned. I just had the chicken hence I cannot say how the other food tastes. I am satisfied with the chicken though!More

As what they always say, this restaurant has never change its taste and flavor. From that rustic-modern ambiance to that very delicious food! And the serving is good for sharing! The Buko halo is a top notch! Their chicken skin is my favorite too! Y'all should...try! P.S: The location was great! It's like walking distance from Siliman University and that boulevard! My friend told us that it's one of the oldest restaurant in Dumaguete!More

Great place, great food. The ambiance was superb! Absolutely stunning. The theme has truly lived by its name – “by the sea”. Had our team dinner here and it was a fun time. We were also graciously accompanied by the beautiful Moon during dinner. The...food was also a highlight! Their famous chicken inasal, was really good. We also had the Shrimp and Sisig and it was all scrumptious. Make sure to drop by and try it when you’re visiting Dumaguete. A little far from downtown but it was worth the ride.More

We were a party of 17 and each ordered a chicken inato (paa or pecho). We then ordered other dishes for sharing. The prices listed for the soups and noodles (pancit), and veggies were quite low so we were surprised by the sizes of the...servings. Everything was delicious, but especially the tanigue soup, the sotanghon soup and chopsuey. Bill was less than P4,000 and we even had left overs. Cheap, filling and good!Thumbs upMore

One of the best charcoal chickens in the Philippines. Hygienic, open aired restaurant. Chicken was tasty and cooked well. It's a 5 minute walk to Larena pier, so we came back before our ferry to Bohol. Definitely much pricier than the street barbecues, but well...worth it. Full of locals and foreignersMore

If I could eat just one dish in Dumaguete, it would be this. For the price, it is very sulit. Tasty chicken. The only negative thing was the lines were long and we have to waited to be seated. The resto is full so better...to come here early.More

Whenever i am in Dumaguete i never fail to eat here. For Lunch i got the Chicken Inasal Pecho, Grilled Tanigue, Kilawin, Buko Halo and Buko Shake. Everything was just perfect except the Halo Halo. The ice was big chunks plus it lacked milk. Anyway,...the food did the job, the Tanigue was perfectly grilled and i just loved the kilawin.More

I went here with a couple of friends this month. We waited for a long time for our orders. The quality of the food wasn't worth the price and the waiting time. More importantly, don't order their chicken skin!

We were recommended Joe's by our transfer driver. Really enjoyed this. Good mix of Filipino and western, to satisfy our fussy kids! Yummy grilled chicken, delicious chicken ski s. Highlight was the sweet and sour pork!

Not a Cebuano speaker but they say that "inato" means "aton-aton lang"... following homestyle cooking of Jo's Chicken Inato. :)
