My wife and I ate here twice on our recent Yellowstone vacation. The food was great and the prices were fair. The views from the front porch were great and the overall lodge itself was very nice. We really liked sitting on the front porch...chairs with a drink and jut looking out at the great views.More

We were really wanting to eat here and experience the Lodge dining; however were told it would be a 30 - 45 minute wait - this in itself isn't that bad, but we could see 10 - 15 open tables. They don't take reservations so...we knew that wasn't an issue. The hostess was not very friendly explaining to us why the wait when there obviously was open tables. We decided to forgo the rustic dining experience in Yellowstone and explore Yellowstone itself. Good decision.More

We ate breakfast here early one morning in August 2019 before going to view wildlife in Lamar Valley and it was great! The atmosphere was wonderful and the service was fast and friendly. I still think about those delicious huckleberry pancakes!

The food is not that great - but staff trying to do their best - looks like they are understaffed .. we went there twice for lunch and could not get smooked trout in neither of the visits... so end up with another boring sandwich...which somehow people visiting yellowstone thinks it is a treat...More

Someone should have posted that they close after Labor Day. I mean the day after! If you go in September several things close after Labor Day. But on the upside we did get to see a Black Bear lumber across the parking lot & up...into the mountains 👍More

Beautiful facility. We had just gotten our lunch and sat down when the fire alarm went off.......everybody out. Since it was raining, the staff invited us to go to the employee lodge which is behind the main building. They were very accommodating and did their...best to make us feel comfortable. In the employee building it is tradition for the staff to leave a note on the walls or something about their hometown. One highlight is a signature on the wall from Jimmy Carter when he visited as President. Pretty Cool. When we were allowed to return to our lunch, the staff offered to warm our lunch or even get us something different. Very well done.More

We took shelter in the Roosevelt Lodge from a strong summer storm--what a lucky discovery. The food was a creative fusion of campground treats and gourmet sauces. I had the turkey pastrami sandwich covered in a mouthwatering sauce--probably the best Reuben-esque sandwich I've ever had....Service was prompt and polite as was most of the service we had throughout Yellowstone; somehow the folks who train the staff at Yellowstone can assemble people from around the globe and create a group that makes a trip to the wilderness quite pleasant.More

I had been to this restaurant before and really enjoyed it so I took my parents as part of our Yellowstone trip and I was embarrassed for saying it was so good. Our waitress had a badge on saying she was a manager - haha!...We were eventually given the chance to order. I can't remember now all the things that were wrong. We ordered pancakes and no syrup was brought out. I asked 3 separate times to please bring the syrup before she did, and when she did she carefully explained to me while syrup was which and got every single one wrong (?!) So I poured a kind of syrup onto my food that I didn't like. The kids pancake has mix in options and they got those all wrong too. There was a distinct "can't be bothered" attitiude about the waitress. It was the last weekend before they closed and I think she just didn't care anymore. The huckleberry pancakes had the smallest amount of huckleberries in them as would be possible to sprinkle on. It took FOREVER for the food to come out too and the restaurant was not busy.More

This was the best dinner experience we had in the park. A little hard to get to but worth it. Very much like the old west! The ranch hands played their music and sang on the front pouch . Very authentic. The ribs are a...must and portions were exceptional. Excellent service much better that the overpriced Lake Hotel! Next to the horse stables and with a grand view. Must stop 👍🏻😎More

overcooked chicken, ambivalent service. Very cool place and area though. None of our food looked great and the gift store here's a bit silly.
