We ate dinner while we were there. Choices were limited. Our food was average. Since there was no inside dining, we had to eat outside. There were benches provided, but I never saw anyone cleaning them between customers. We did not get breakfast the next...morning. We opted to purchase coffee and eat snacks that we brought.More

With the long drives throughout the park, this was a great stop to get out and stretch our legs. Bathrooms across the street are spotless and roomy, Old Faithful is behind the bathrooms and handicap parking is plentiful. Most of the visitor areas were closed...but the store was open and filled will snacks, gifts, food and a few necessities. It's more of a general store than a restaurant. Watch for bison, they wander throughout the area and you don't want to get close. We watched one from a distance as it pounded tree limbs off the tree with its head.More

Not the best food but it worth stopping for compensating energy during the trip. We found it easily on the way.

Having a burger and milkshake at the Hamilton Store was one of my dad's most favorite things each time we went to Yellowstone. While they were making milk shakes this year because of COVID, the Huckleberry Soda was a strong substitution. The staff were friendly...and the food was great. We had picnic lunches outside and watched a couple of buffalo grazing after a great day on the geyser basin. Priceless!!More

Besides the soda fountain we found some things we hadn't seen anywhere else in the park for souvenirs. Check it out.

Visited Old Faithful Basin Store/Hamilton's Store a few times on our stay in Yellowstone. The store is located to the right of Old Faithful Inn and it contains a great selection of clothing, homewares and knicknacks. Located within is also an old fashioned soda fountain....My husband and I both had burgers and fries at the soda shop and we enjoyed it. Even if you don't eat, the store itself is beautiful to look and shop at.More

I cannot comment on the food since we went to see this pine used in construction and the fact they do have a real soda fountain. Had a milk shake and a ice cream soda and were not disappointed. Had a nice talk with the...server too who was from Georgia.More

Same menu as the other diners in the park and food is good. Claiming to be substantial and ask to save water, but uses one time use cups. And Don't have washing machine that would use less water and energy.

Great place to visit. Definitely try to get yourself a seat at the counter for the full experience. But I recommend going only for ice cream or the like. I can’t vouch for lunch but the breakfast was terrible. Typical selection of eggs and pancakes,...but not done well, very greasy, served on paper plates with plastic utensils. And not cheap - breakfast for two was $26 without tip. A much better option is the beautiful historic dining hall at the OF Lodge. Breakfast was $32 and a million times better.More

There are very limited options for dining in Yellowstone. The general stores are one of the more convenient places to stop and eat as they do not require reservations. The hamburgers and bison burgers here were just okay, they seemed to be frozen patties. I...certainly wouldn't recommend paying a premium for the bison burger for that reason. By far the best menu items are the Schudogs. They offer an elk sausage and a bison sausage. Both of these were much better than than any of the hamburgers or salads offered. If sausage isn't your thing, would go with the ice cream.More

The menu in the Old Faithful Inn dining room specifically says that nothing is guaranteed gluten free
