Apparently 90 minutes is the allowed time per table. I have been coming here for many, many years celebrating birthdays graduations and just visiting with friends and having a great time. Tonight however the owner must’ve been very stressed because she came to the table...and said that we had been there for two hours and normally they only allow people to stay for 90 minutes.— And that they were very busy. Notwithstanding the fact that there were empty tables everywhere we got up and left and I will never return. By the way the fish tacos are not great. It’s too bad when the mechanics of running a restaurant get in the way of your dining experience.More
Owner has a bad attitude and she was less than accommodating tonight. Choose one of the many other restaurants nearby instead!!
We have been going to this restaurant for over 2 years. Chef Norberto no longer working there, food very bland, very disappointed to have our Anniversary dinner there. Will never go back.
Visited for the first time with a friend who loves this restaurant. First, I will mention the positives: This is a beautifully decorated restaurant with a warm atmosphere. I also really liked the waiter. He had a warm personality. My friend had shrimp tacos for...dinner and Nutella crepes for dessert and enjoyed her meal very much. - My favorite part of the meal was when the waiter offered me COTTON CANDY!! It brought me back to my childhood and made me happy. Now I will mention the areas of opportunity: I found the hostess a bit abrupt and did not change my opinion in the 15 minutes I stood there. The service was slow. My impression was that there was not enough staffing, because when we had the waiter at our table, he was good. I ordered a vegetable risotto. All I could think of was if I had taken a box of rice pilaf and omitted the seasoning packet, it would have been the same. No creaminess and very bland. The "roasted" vegetables seemed like blanched vegetables. I've made food this boring at home myself by accident. I did have a nice margarita and a brownie sundae for dessert. But, I was very disappointed in my main meal and by the slowness of the service. I would only go back if a friend desired that restaurant choice.More
From the moment we sat down service was non existent. Totally unrelaxing begging for service. To boot, $12 margaritas had minimal alcohol. Stay away from $29 paella. Biggest ingredient was spicy rice. Much better choices with good food and great service!
Purchased a gift card for my 70 year old parents for Christmas. My parents tried to redeem the card today however the restaurant would not accept the gift card, stating that it had not been activated. My parents had the receipt of purchase included with...the card for $100. They refused to honor the card. My dad left his name, number and information and then left. The owner then had three Police cars pull my poor parents over after they left, for failure to pay a bill. They scared my parents half to death. They were mortified and terrified. Absolutely never giving my business to this establishment againMore

Five friends went here for dinner on a Sat night at 6:45pm. Were seated immediately in one of the last uneserved tables (need 6 or moe to get a eservation). Sevice was very friendly and professional thoughout, with several check-ins by the manager and hostess....Bar area was packed when we left at 8:30p. We all had two dishes each. Food varied between okay to good; most were okay with only one of our party commenting how good their dish was. There was no draft beer, with about 6-7 selections of beer by the bottle, and the wine by the glass menu was limited. One of the party ordered the sangria and thought it was very unimpressed. Food was pricey so overall value was just average so I won't be back.More
Tuesday night....I will go easy, it was fairly busy for a Tuesday. Overpriced menu prices for basic Mexican food. Service was less than perfect as our server only came back after our entrees were complete. No drink refill, no chips or salsa. We had to...ask others and the hostess brought water. We won’t be backMore
Looking for a spot where you can enjoy a lite bite or lg entree this is it! Margaritas a bit pricey but food is totally worth the trip. Great selection, delightful staff, charming and romantic setting.
We just spent $180 for dinner for 2 adults and a child. This is ok if you get good food, generous portions and terrific service. In this case, 1 of 3 doesn’t make a good recommendation. In general, the food was tasty. The portions were miniscule....We had a the ahi tuna appetizer. I think it was tuna because they waved tuna over the plate. There were barely teo bites for two for $18. Both my wife and I enjoyed “specials” around $30 each that we needed to come home and eat after. My son’s burger was the most reasonable deal but his “warm chocolate chip cookie” dessert was cold and hatd. We are used to eating in many overpriced resort type resturants but for a local place Cactus Rose fails terribly. Skip this place. There are many better local places.More
Can’t say enough about this restaurant consistently very good .. creative beyond the menu ..food is organic .. best kale salad you can have with wild salmon or organic steak or chicken .. great mussels in saffron sauce or stuffed figs ... today I had...the butternut squash soup tasty with purée and chucks with pepitas on top ...love the quesadilla chicken or lobster 🦞 yummmm...my husband swears by the burgers 🍔 his favorite with shoe string onion ...More
We just wanted a bite after going to the movies so we shared the spinach and chicken quesadilla and the grilled corn on the cob. It was perfect! Their margaritas are all delicious but we particularly like the Herradura Suprema! Yum
Very friendly staff , in the lovely town of Wilton. Good range of drinks and cocktails. Fast efficient prompt service of food coming out of the kitchen. If you like Taccos and all things Tex Mex then you won’t find better in Wilton.
