My wife and I booked a reservation here after hearing about their amazing French dip. Even with our reservation we had to wait about 10 minutes for our table. The restaurant’s interior was cool and the bathroom had a lot of character. The food was...good and unique but didn’t quite live up to the hype. Service was friendly and helpful.More

Best Vietnamese I’ve had since Hoi An. The Ox Tail Pho and fried chicken were fantastic. The bar program had well built cocktails and Vietnamese beer.

Excellent food! We stopped in for lunch without a reservation and had a 30 min wait. The neighborhood looked a little dodgy, but the food was great.

Still the best chicken wings on the island! Thank goodness you guys made it through these tough times. My first time back in a while only because it took me a while to get a reservation!

As usual, we turned to the internet for lunch suggestions and the Pig and the Lady came up. So we drove to Chinatown after seeing Pearl Harbor on Veteran's Day. Parking in the streets were plentiful and free on Veteran's Day and we parked right...around the corner. We walked over and waited for a few minutes and got to the front whereupon they said it would be a 20 minute wait or so and we left our number and walked around Chinatown a little bit. They called us and we got back and got a table towards the back. They definitely socially distant-ed everyone. We sat and checked out the menu and saw some things that folks had raved about. So we got the chicken wings as a starter and my gf got the bahn mi and I got one of the pho dishes. We also got some iced Viet coffee and iced tea. Their Viet coffee? Delicious. I actually nursed it as I was also having a beer and the ice in the coffee melted and watered down the coffee a little which I regretted. The chicken wings? Delicious. Think it was 4 or 5 wings, plump and tasty. My bf's bahn mi came with a dipping soup so while not how I usually eat it, we went with it - their bahn mi french dip. It was good and I dont think you can really go wrong with bahn mi. My pho was also good and like pho should be - fragrant with some nice chewy noodles and good amount of meat. I was still a smidge hungry and stupidly ordered an order of spring rolls. They were 4 good sized, crispy spring rolls with big pieces of lettuce. This was probably excessive in retrospect and prevented us from getting dessert. Anyways, it was a late lunch and by the time we finished, we were the last ones there and they were closing shop. For the day or for just lunch service, I don't know but it was about 4:30 and we didnt want to keep them anymore. Service was typical. Thai iced tea, Viet coffee, local beer, 2 entrees, 2 apps, tip, the bill came out to about 95 bucks. Not life changing (but really what is though?) But would definitely recommend and go back.More

Simply Amazing, all herbs were added directly to the soup rather than letting people do it, it turns out an incredible Flavour. Brisket and raw meat are really tender. You can have similar take away Pho in the Farmer market for few dollars less. Pricey...Pho but worth the trip. Highly recommendMore

We're from the Bay Area so we have eaten a lot of Vietnamese food. The meal we had here was our favorite of the trip. You could tell that all the ingredients sourced were of high quality and so flavorful. We had Dad's Toast and...Tea Salad to start. Dad's Toast was absolutely delicious, the accompanying bread was soft and warm. The Tea Salad was just okay for us, we've had better. I had the Bun Bo Hue for my entree, and I inhaled the food. It was so comforting, delicious and full of flavor. My husband had the Dried XO spaghetti and really enjoyed it as well. The cocktails were great, service was impeccable. There was a prolonged pause between apps and entree, but we did finally get our food. Would highly recommend this place.More

I really can’t say much about this place except it is absolutely amazing, and if you are on Oahu, you have to go here! Strong, delicious flavors, friendly wait staff, beautiful decor, and lots and lots of great food! Definitely put this on your list!

Excellent service and even better food! Our waiter was awesome at guiding us through the menu, as we were first timers. The chicken wings were some of the best I have ever had and the oysters were so fresh. I will be dreaming about this...meal until I go back to Oahu.More

We love several restaurants in Chinatown, have been coming here at least once a year for 20 years, but this was our first visit to The Pig & the Lady. It was busy, obviously popular - we are mystified. Maybe because it has a bar?...I ordered the signature French Dip with pho; guess I was expecting a burst of flavor, like Ba Le banh mi sandwiches, but it was ver bland. Good thing there was a bottle of sriracha on each table, that helped a bit. My husband ordered a cold noodle dish topped with pork and catfish. After half an hour we asked if our order had been lost (we believe it was); the waiter said he’d check, then told us it was almost ready. Served 10 minutes later and it, too, was bland. How can you suck the amazing flavors out of Vietnamese cuisine? Although our server was nice, he never refilled our iced tea (that, and water, were all we had for 40 minutes). We have some excellent Vietnamese restaurants in the Washington DC Metro area which we visit often, so we were looking forward to trying this new spin on the traditional dishes. Meh. Not favorably impressed with the restroom, either - dark and questionably clean. I’m if the opinion that says a lot about an establishment (realizing that most of he time, the staff uses them too).More
