Fantastic Weekly Grab and Go Dinners!

We regularly order the weekly Grab and Go Dinners and are amazed each and every time by the high quality and creative offerings. Nancy and her crew have provided us with consistently delicious and generous meals that have been a special blessing to our family during the 2020 Pandemic. Excellent food and unparalleled service -- thank you!

Hidden in plain sight

Had lunch here 3 or 4 times over the last couple of years. It truly is one of those hidden gems. Menu is shortish but varied, catering for vegetarians and carnivores. The food is always good. Brie and Peat Quesadilla is excellent as are the Fish Tacos.

Delicious

Prepping to leave Flagstaff and decided to snag some sandwiches. The Roasted Turkey sandwich and the Portobello sandwich were both phenomenal. Super flavorful. Quick and courteous service. Would have taken a pic if the Portobello, but my fiancée ate it before I could get my phone out.

A Past Favorite, Disappoints us this time...

After a homerun on our first visit we are sorry to say our 2nd visit was a real strikeout... We loved the fish tacos and the homemade soups on our first visit but wanted to try something different. I tried the Hot Italian while my wife tried the Veggi-Batta. The Veggi-Batta lacked seasoning of the vegtables and was so disappointing that 1/2 of it ended up in the garbage can. The Hot Italian was piled high with meat but lacked enough toppings to offset the Very Salty Capicolo and Genoa Salami. With Covid, only outside seating is available and you must order over the phone. Pricing has also increased substantially since our last visit. It is sad when one of your favorite places disappoints...

Sad to say. Not worth getting

Sad to say. Not worth getting off the highway for. Prices are double what they show online. Fish taco questionable if fish was completely cooked. Food ok and over priced. Atmosphere of restaurant cold.

Healthy menu, great food.

We sat outside in the shade of some tall Oak trees. The restaurant is taking necessary precautions against exposure to corona virus and so seating was outside only when we visited. We called in the order from outside and the food was brought out to our table. You can even order from your car in the parking area or before you arrive. Excellent service, excellent food, conciencious staff, fair price.

Hard to find, but worth it. We had soups and sandwich. We sampled 3 different soups as part of a "flight'. All were delicious!

Hidden Gem, known mostly by locals

Funky out of the way lunch place that serves wonderfully prepared soups and sandwiches. You must take the dirt road up the hill from Route 66 or Mount Elden off of 66. Great salads, Nancy (owner) will often come out. Always delightful and never disappointed when we come. Highly recommend!

Fresh and fantastic

We wanted to eat at a local treasure and we got our wish. The owner/chef took my order and assured us that 1/2 an order of fish tacos and a cup of soup would be plenty. She was right. The fresh soup and ingredients in the tacos were beautiful and so tasty. This place is not impressive from the outside but cozy and cool on the inside. We will return.

Only a crazy dog owner would eat lunch outside when the temp is 43* ... but such is the life when traveling and looking for pet friendly eating establishments. Cafe Daily Fare was a wonderful surprise! Tucked away on a hillside with alley access behind a car lot, the search is worth it. The food was upscale, the portions were hearty, the price affordable. A delicious value! As 1/3 of the group and a Paleo diet eater, I had the house salad with a grilled salmon add-on. The other group members tried the Blackberry Duck Tacos and Albacore Tuna Salad Sandwich. The duck was moist with a perfect hint of Blackberry. The accompanying Habanero Aioli was yummy (we got some to go!). The sourdough bread and smoked Gouda really set the sandwich apart. Be sure to try the Orange Spice Iced Tea and Homemade Lemonade. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our substitutions and “extra” requests. They definitely earned a return trip rating.

After reading other T.A. reviews we decided to try this small, off the beaten track cafe in Flagstaff AZ, off historic Route 66. On arrival we were a bit dubious due to the unassuming first impression. However, we were greeted warmly and found an extensive menu and ordered our meal out on the jury-rigged patio in front. Were we ever pleased with an excellent meal. My fish taco (snapper) was excellent. The hostess gave me the option of trying a half size with the duck taco, along with my choice of salad. The salad was fresh and tasty with mandarins, avocado, Jamica, and almonds. My husbands Brazilian Fish stew was to die for and also came with a nice side salad which had apple and pine nuts in it. Our food portions were good sizes and great value. We were pleased to eat a healthy, fresh meal which has been difficult to find on our road trip through the U.S. Unfortunately we were too full to try the desserts. This is a hidden gem, and a must stop for anyone passing through Flagstaff (locals included).

Cute little Cafe with healthy options

The food here is hearty and delicious, with a focus on fresh, healthy ingredients. It's great for a casual lunch with friends or clients. I tried the duck tacos - even a half order was enough, and everything was fresh and tasty. The service and staff here are friendly and very accommodating if you have dietary restrictions. Definitely recommend!

Great lunch

If you are into healthy, creative food, this is a fantastic place. We really liked the blackberry fish tacos. t is a bit difficult to find, so you may have to call them for directions.
