Happy hour for margaritas is good. I think it was a prickly pear margarita that I liked besides the standard house happy hour ones.

Seeing a 4 Star rating was totally inaccurate. If this restaurant rated TripAdvisor 4 Star rating, then Taco Bell is a 10. There is nothing positive to say about the restaurant. The food was of the poorest quality I have ever tasted and the interior...More

Casa chimayo is a refreshing change from the stereotypical places that appear on almost every corner in southwestern tourist destinations. As we were shown to our table in the back, it seemed that the structure is a series of plywood rooms that have been cobbled...More

We chose this little gem because of Diners, Drive Inns and Dives! It didn’t disappoint one bit! The Chili Relleno Burger was AMAZING! This was by far the best meal in Santa Fe! Be sure to save room for the desserts!

We got a variety of food to try and it was delicious. Blue corn Indian fry brad taco was amazing. The sauces were to die for. We will visit again when visiting Santa Fe.

We tried this restaurant as it was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. While the decor was good (rustic), it had an old Mexico feel, the food was not. My husband didn’t receive what he ordered but since we hadn’t been there he thought maybe...More

I searched for a restaurant where we could hold a family dinner for 34 people to celebrate a milestone birthday. When we arrived in Santa Fe we stopped by to see their patio area. I wanted the indoor restaurant but after seeing the patio, we...More

Casa Chimayo’s traditional approach to preparing authentic New Mexican cuisine, or “Comida de Nueva España,” as Don Timoteo, the patriarch of the restaurant, refers to it, comes from his commitment to using Grandma’s recipes and local ingredients. Guy Fieri featured Casa Chimayo in a segment titled “Aces Of Authenticity,” on his popular Food Network show “Diners, Drive-ins & Dives, showcasing their popular blue corn enchiladas! New Mexican cuisine has evolved from a blending of Spanish and Native American ingredients, resulting in a culinary experience like no other. Don Timoteo is proud to serve authentic New Mexican dishes using fresh, local ingredients such as: red and green chile, corn, beans, blue corn, posole, tortillas, tamales, atole, and more!
