The Coffee Chicken is excellent and many other dishes. We get take-out but have also eaten inside, which is very nice. One of my favorites!

We were a party of four that all ordered different dishes: Sesame Chicken, Coffee Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Sweet and Sour Chicken. All tasted good, but some found their choice to be too spicy. The pot stickers as an appetizer were good as well - but once again, be careful of the spicy sauce served with it.

After being told at HIDDEN CHICKEN that it was too late for service at their restaurant, we walked over to CHOW's. Why haven't we come here earlier. It is a quaint little place, and very good food. When we come back to NM for an extended visit again, this little restaurant will be one of our stops. Loved it!!

I eat at Chow's regularly, maybe once per month. Greeting: friendly and welcoming--every time. Appearance: Very nice semi-formal decor, with many owner-grown orchids throughout. Service: Knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. Atmosphere: Subdued and quiet, but semi-casual. You don't need a tie, but you definately need long pants, a shirt with buttons, and combed hair. Now...the food: 1. Sauces. Excellent.... More

This establishment has really changed for the better. I tried it several years ago and was disappointed by the service and food. Just OK, nothing great. Have now returned several times recently and everything has improved. Everything on the menu is worth a try. Can't do better in the Santa Fe area if you are looking for Chinese food, some... More

This restaurant used to be my go to for many years for excellent Chinese fare. Not anymore. The food I ordered was not good in texture or flavor. I am sad to see a place that was once so spectacular be so forgettable today.

Chow's was a classic lesson in you can do everything right except smile and fail. Food was excellent in taste, presentation and quantity. Service was fast and efficient but not personable, for a small intimate place like this a bid mistake. Along with crowding the table with too many dishes and serving courses too close together another guest had a... More

My colleagues and I swore, last time in there, we would never go back. The older guy is nice, the older woman the worst. Ever. I am not a whiner. I am not subjecting myself to her again, End of story. Oh, food is pretty good. Atmosphere not bad. My "2" rating is ONLY and TOTALLY about the woman who... More

This gem is a great departure from the dishes you are used to getting. Highly recommend the lettuce wrap appetizer, the coffee-chicken (Mr. Chow's own recipe), and the scallops in spinach pesto (truly gourmet quality food). Service is friendly, efficient, and in a modern decor.
