We were blown away by the chile rellenos and vegetarian green chili posole. So nice that they have vegetarian versions of many of their traditional dishes! Killer margartias and nice ambiance for a good price! We will definitely be visiting The Shed again next time...More

Everyone we met told us that we should go to the Shed while in Santa Fe for authentic local food. The location is charming and comfortable in a small courtyard close to the square. Food was first rate and served quickly. My husband found the...More

It is always a pleasure to go to the Shed and enjoy the features of this unique, historic building and restaurant. The menu has a wide variety of New Mexican dishes and enough to select from if you want something more familiar. The service was...More

The Shed never lets me down. I consider it the best of the New Mexican style restaurants. Red Chile enchiladas were great this visit. Tasty, hot chile not overwhelmed by too much cheese. Love the ambience-true Sante Fe.

We walked forever trying to find this place as the signage is poor. The food was Ok but be warned, the chili is very very spicy. I like spicy and I had to get a side of sour cream to cool it enough to eat.

This is a great way to experience how the locals live in Santa Fe. It has a great patio. We had lunch here. The Salsa and guacamole was the best around!

Crowded but not too noisy and obviously popular, mostly with locals as best we could tell. Red chile was quite hot while retaining all its flavor which is hard to do and much appreciated. Excellent service and reasonable pricing make this place a new regular...More

We went to this restaurant based on its reviews and input from others and came away feeling very dissatisfied with the whole experience. First, if you are Vegan, just skip it altogether and go to Mucho Gusto instead. If you are vegetarian, you take your...More

I’d been to the Shed on previous trips to SF but never got their corn chowder before! It’s a popular tourist stop right off the Plaza. They serve up Mexican food that’s pretty good. But that chowder is great! Be warned though! It’s hot!!

I'm sure the manager or the owner, Courtney Carswell, will be receptive to hearing you out. However, the best time to complain is when it happens. I know that's sometimes hard to do. Another thing you could do is post a poor... More

Ask if the green or red chile is hotter. Or ask for them to put the chile on the side.
