I will start off with the service. Lupita our server is the sweetest and attentive waitress I’ve ever had at any restaurant! The food is unbelievably delicious every time we visit. And the cozy atmosphere is a plus!
Solid choice for mexican food. It's easy to miss the delicious tempiqueña because it's under colored drawings. I like the fajitas and their large homemade tortillas. Portions are generous and can accommodate 2 easily. Margaritas are loaded.
Recommended by our VRBO host as an authentic Mexican meal. The mole had excellent flavor. Generous portions. Hostess gave us option to pick our table where we felt most comfortable with social distance. Although posted warning suggested service may be slow due to low staff...everything was served in a timely manner. As out of towners parking could be tricky to find but GPS worked to direct us to the parking behind the restaurant. Would recommend for the distinctive flavors.More
We ate on the patio and found the food to be very good. Our waiter was professional and friendly. The only complaint was they were out of sopapillas but to be honest we were so full that we were better off not getting dessert. The...portions were very ample for the price and we brought food home.More
Shared a cheese crisp and had a sangria each - very good. This was our lunch and filling. My husband always has to make a stop at Casa Molina's anytime we are staying in Tucson. The Campbell location is also great. Had a green corn...tamale there. Good covid-conscious staff.More
My wife and I ate lunch and were disappointed. The carne seca was not a good as we've had before there, the beans were indifferent, and the lettuce tasted of the plastic bag it no doubt came out of. But worst of all was the...inattentive service! After 25 years of visiting Casa Molina on and off, we will not go back. It just isn't what it used to be.More
The margaritas were super good!! Walking around the restaurant looks like it needs a good cleaning. The service was slow and we were mostly ignored. Half of our group liked the food and the other half did not enjoy it. I would go back for...the margarita but not the food.More
We went to Tuscon for our anniversary and good food was a goal. We asked around and Casa Molina was recommended. WOW! Loved the intimate warm environment. The margaritas were made with fresh lime juice. The cheese crisp was memorable one of the BEST we...have ever had.... I want one right now!! Lol
My husband had a Chilie Relleno and loved it. The sauce was served on the side which was brilliant. You could dip or add at your discretion. The chips were good and the salsa excellent! The staff was open and friendly which was refreshing as we were traveling during Covid. Some places were cold and fearful. Here, they were still warm.
Definitely a must visit!!!! Highly recommendMore
We were looking for a good Mexican food restaurant with take out due to the CODV*49. We called our favorite restaurant, and they had a good program to handle our request. We requested 5:30 PM and it was ready when we arrived. It was still...warm. The cashier handling pick up had a mask on, wore gloves and a shield had been installed to. We requested Carne Seca Tostado, and it was prepared the same as a normal serving on a plate. The serving was generous. They even includeed 2 small packages or tortillo cchips with salsa!! They had a stream of people coming in for pick up. You cannot go wrong with a take out mean here.More
