Located in Old Town, this little place packs a punch when it comes to flavor. The service was great. The selection on the menu will allow anyone in your group to find something flavorful and fresh.

We ate here for lunch during Balloon Fiesta week, and it was very busy. Despite that, our server (Alex) was very pleasant and helpful. Food came out pretty quickly and was good. Really liked the shrimp tacos. Would eat here again.

Had the Old Town Street Tacos; one beef, chicken, and pork taco with a side of rice. As always everything was fresh and flavorful. I always make a point to stop here for lunch when visiting the Albuquerque area.

We had dinner during the Balloon Festival. Overall our experience was good but how can they get by with posting a sign that says 20% is being added to your bill because of the Balloon Festival. Really?! That is so rude. No other restaurant we...More

Located a block off the square in Old town ABQ. Trying hard to be a destination, but needs some more effort to be consistent. No avacados for tableside guacamole set the tone for the evening. Great beer menu along with short respectable wine list. Steak...More

We were a group of four and enjoyed a tasty lunch at Backstreet Grill in Old Town. We had fish tacos, street tacos and the Backstreet pizza, along with the queso and chips and salsa. We all ranked it #1 of the meals we had...More

We enjoyed our meal at this happening place and it was well worth the wait. We couldn't be seated because, despite having plenty of empty tables there were not enough servers to take care of all of the people. I would suggest putting more servers...More

While not a fan of southwest cuisine, while visiting Albuquerque was invited to have lunch at Backstreet's by friends who live here. On arrival we were told there was a 45 minute wait. Perhaps 25 percent of the tables, both inside and outside were occupied....More

Generally only got to dog friendly places
Since I cannot respond to the management counter to my review I will answer this way. In New Mexico when I saw a Navajo Taco on the menu and ordered it with Green Chile I figured I was getting a New Mexico Dish. It was not even close to what I expected. The dish I received had no flavor and was more like a tasteless taco dish. My mistake but I was misled by the menu. The grilled cheese was a complete waste as well as it was a total grease sandwich. The Calamari was totally cooked to a crisp and like eating burnt whatever and I don't remember the other dish but you can see my issues. Then to top of the experience a server that was totally cocky did nothing more than take the order and never removed the dishes and maybe now you know why we won't be back. Your cuisine is your choice and that's no issue with me. Just like my choice is to never come back. So my question is is there valet parking?
