Awesome vibe as soon as you enter! The restaurant has great decor, very hip without being hipster. Nice art on display. Super clean and polished place. Comfortable chairs and tables, that are spaced out very generously. But food is the star! I had Fabulous French...More

My wife and I decided to try this cafe once again as we have not been there for a couple of years. Very busy but an obvious lack of care from service and wait staff spoiled our Experience. Tables had not been cleaned (now becoming...More

My husband *loves* (like, almost more than he loves me) the Grateful Cakes: whole grain pancakes with sweet potatoes and other goodness, topped with nuts and buttery syrup. He adds an omelette to this (with avocado, tomatoes and garlic), and he almost can't finish his...More

This Flying Star Café lacks any semblance of ambiance, but the food itself isn't bad. So if you're willing to put up with huge amounts of noise and little or no service, you'll find the meal, when it arrives, not bad at all.

Tuesday’s is half price pie day this winter. For dinner I had a salad, baby had a Buddha bowl, hubby had a sandwich. We both devoured our food, then took pie to go. Yum!

Whenever we come to Albuquerque, we make a stop for breakfast at a Flying Star. Tasty, whole foods with vegetarian options, and great coffee!
