I wanted some Chinese food after working hard all day. Was seated promptly and The brought my drink order. I ordered the pineapple chicken in a coconut sauce. What they brought me was pure heaven. Hollowed out pineapple with stir fried chicken in a creamy coconut sauce. Totally awesome food. I will be coming back here as often as I... More

This is a family owned restaurant that has won the Albuquerque Best Chinese Food award. Great food and comfortable atmosphere. My most favorite.....! Ask for Taiwanese menu if you have time. They will fix you special food.

Agree with previous review that for Albuquerque, this is a very good Chinese restaurant when you can't get to the bigger cities. The dishes taste authentic. They do have a menu of more unusual Chinese dishes from the standard items on the lunch menu - need to ask for that menu. The steamed pork buns come pretty close to what... More

Met family as we were passing through town. We all ordered, but we shared sesame chicken and beef, orange chicken, sweet & sour pork, and Mongolian beef. Great change of pace in the land of green chile. Great service, lovely owners!

We tried Budai for lunch. After reading the reviews, to be honest, I was hoping for a menu with more unusual or unexpected choices. The lunch specials, at $9-10, were mostly what you find at any Chinese restaurant. The portions were ample enough. I ordered a green onion pancake as an appetizer, which looked great and tasted greasy and pretty... More

This is the best Chinese restaurant in Albuquerque. Now, if you come from bigger cities, like San Francisco, LA, Chicago, NYC, Seattle, or Dallas, this may not compare... but by Albuquerque standards it is a very good restaurant. The food is very good and the service is fine, but allow more time for the food to come in. The owners... More

We were surprised at the quality of our lunch given all the great reviews. We may give dinner a chance. There were some interesting sounding specials but we ordered off the regular lunch menu. The egg rolls were substandard, the shrimp with lobster sauce wasn't nearly as good as at the Rising Star Chinese Eatery. It was all just really... More

We've eaten here twice in the last year while on vacation. The food has been excellent each time. It's really one of the best Chinese restaurants we've eaten in. The service was great too. We'll come back again to enjoy another delicious meal.

The Hot & Sour Soup was great, but the rest of the meal was so-so given the prices. The appetizer ribs were very good, but the main dishes had way to much 5 star spice for my liking.

This must be the 6-7 th place I tried on my endless search for some good Chinese Food. I have finally found the place I can go back to in the future. The food was fresh and super delicious. Had the wonton soup, hot & sour soup, pork buns, Chinese eggplant and Szechuan Shrimp. What a treat! Already planning my... More
