Although it took a while to be seated on a Sunday afternoon I was waited on by a very friendly woman named Georgia. I asked for her recommendation and was not disappointed. Family owned cafe - very clean, good variety on the menu but they have a special for $5.99 that is a gyro with steak fries that is more than enough and so good with the best sauce. Very freindly staff.
Great food....love their Greek specialties. Gyro itself is great (and their steak fries!) Generous portions Would recommend to order a Greek Coffee and you get a small treat (Greek Biscuit)
The service was amazing I also enjoyed the coffee toast eggs and hash browns but the Italian sausage was over cooked almost to a crisp, the end tasted burnt and the rest of it Reminded me of beef jerky without the flavor, don’t order the...Italian Sausage you will be disappointed.More
Awesome Spot! The Olympian defines customer service, and is truly a favorite restaurant in SLC. The folks that own this place take huge pride in providing great food and service in a great place, and is one of the cleanest restaurants we have ever enjoyed....We enjoy everything on the menu, but especially the Greek burger and the awesome breakfasts. The food is is so good here. I've only come for breakfast but it is a breakfast destination restaurant. Why go to a big box restaurant where it all tastes the same!? The staff are very friendly and helpful, and wonderful with children.
They have the greatest specials on the most amazing dessert waffles! Also the regular breakfast pork chop and egg breakfast gives you two healthy porkchops w/eggs hash browns, pancakes, toast or muffin! Maria, Toni, Georgia and Toni Jr. and staff are always happy and accommodating....There is a reason this restaurant has been here over 20 years! This is the second time I have been here. The first time service was slow but the food was good. Thinking the slow service was a fluke we decided to try again. Today the service is even slower. Visiting family in Salt Lake City and a late breakfast was suggested at the Olympian. We were told the Olympian is famous for their breakfast so we tried it. It is an older place but well cared for. The staff was friendly. My wife had...a chicken fried steak with eggs, I had the Greek Omelet. The others with us had pancakes with eggs, one had the wholewheat pancakes and the other had the buttermilk pancakes. I also had the buckwheat pancakes. All of the food was very good and prepared as ordered, my wife asked for soft poached eggs and she got them exactly the way she likes them. The buckwheat pancakes were great with a crunch from buckwheat. The Greek Omelet was made with Feta cheese and gyro meat. Unusual combination in an omelet but very tasty. It was a good meal.More
