My boyfriend and I celebrated out 2nd year (dating) anniversary and were absolutely blown away. Every single employee was extremely kind and welcoming. They each stopped by at one point or another to wish us a happy anniversary. They even put rose pedals with a card on our table and provided complimentary desserts (see picture). Our waiter was very patient with us as we had no idea what we wanted to eat and which wine would pair the best. He had great recommendations which made our meal fabulous. We will definitely dine here again.

We were somewhat apprehensive during COVID to eat out at a restaurant, but wanted to get out of the house to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were delighted by the upbeat attitude of the staff at this upscale eatery. From the hostess to our server, to the parking valets, everyone was cheerful, gracious and thanked us for choosing their restaurant. That customer-focused attitude and attention to detail has to come from management....impressive! Of course, the food was delicious. This restaurant is not for bargain hunters, but for those who want a cut-above experience and are willing to pay for it. Extraordinary steaks (cooked perfectly) unique appetizer options, side dishes that compliment some of the best meat you will ever eat, and desserts that are better than most (the chocolate duo was special!) makes this a complete delight! They boast an impressive wine list and designer cocktails as well. Our server, Amber was friendly, knowledgeable and knew exactly what exceptional service looks and feels like. Would highly recommend this eatery and plans to return with friends and family are already being discussed. Perfect!!

Wonderful experience! It is located right next to the Hilton Hotel.
Jordan the valet driver and John our waiter were very courteous.
Menus were available in paper or online by scanning a barcode to your phone, that provided a link. It was easy to access and I was glad I didn’t have to share menus.
Food tasted great, not overcooked and my salmon wasn’t dry. Wished there was more selection and a little bit more for the prices we paid.
Quiet atmosphere, mostly business attire from what I saw. Valet was $8, it was fast and convenient.
Majority of the food served is seafood and steak. Sides tasted amazing like the sweet potato casserole. The chocolate duo and caramelized banana cream pie were divine! They were also complimentary for my husband and his brothers birthday.
Make sure to ask the waiter for specials that day and when they offer things, understand that everything is sold separately including the sides and salad. Things will add up quickly in there, so it may not be a great place for families and children.
Felt the lighting in the restaurant was too dim for my liking. You can barely see your feet when you walk because its so dark in there.
If the pricing drops a bit or if they can offer something new to our taste buds, we might give it another go. Otherwise, it was a great experience and the birthday boys enjoyed their meals.

My wife and I have talked about wanting to go to Ruth's Chris Steak House for a long time. We both love a great steak but never tried Ruth's Chris Steak House. Our excuse was always not having the time, but the truth is we felt a place as special as Ruth's Chris should be where you go with friends or family for a special occasion. Our special occasion happened this year on our 39th wedding anniversary. Our son and his lovely wife said that they wanted to take us out for our anniversary. Of course we were happy to accept the invitation but when we drove up to the Ruth's Chris on West Temple in Salt Lake my wife and I were thrilled. I could go on and on about the excellent service or the fun group of waiters and waitresses (and I'm not exaggerating, there was a group not just one). the experience was just delightful. The steak was to die for. Both my wife and I had the filet mignon, and baked potato with all the toppings.
If you are looking for a great dining experience, with a group of fun waiters and waitresses, I strongly recommend the Ruth's Chris Steak House on West Temple in Salt Lake City.

This was a first time visit for my husband for his birthday. It did not disappoint. Our server Alassane was top notch as well as his crew. We ordered from the prime time menu, ribeye and filet, which we felt for an upscale restaurant was reasonably priced. It was prepared perfectly. Even got a comped dessert! 🎂
When we mentioned we were leaving on Amtrak at 3:30 AM that morning and were a bit worried about transportation to the station, our server gave us his cell # in case we did run into a problem ( and we did) but our hotel ( Sheraton) solved it. Now that’s above and beyond! Thank you for a pleasant experience in these different times.

My wife and I arrived a little after 5:00 PM as walk-ins on a Saturday evening. We were happy to find that they could squeeze us in. We ordered off the prime-time menu We both had the lobster bisque, I had the Ribeye and my wife ordered the filet (both medium) my wife's was a little too rare which they fixed immediately. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Wonderful first time experience and highly comparable to the Black Pearl in Dunedin or Bern's in Tampa Florida for fine dining. Service was top notch and swarmed (in a good way) all over us during our visit. They could even make a perfect espresso martini without a moment hesitation. Steaks were piping hot and cooked to perfection with pink in the middle and a little char on the outside. Valet parking crew was super and worth the pittance it cost.

We wanted beef and know RC has top quality meats. Ingredients were all top notch and tasty but inattentive service made the meal less than memorable. As well, the space is not particularly impressive or luxurious (as some RC's are). As others have stated the bone-in filet is large and tender and we shared it and were happy with the portion. It took a long time before a wait person arrived to take our order and similar waits occured between courses. Of particular concern was the length of time taken before the table was cleared. We'll try Fleming's the next time we're in SLC and jonesing for beef.

We go to Ruth's Chris for special occasions quite often. The last few times, the steaks have been good but not amazing...we love the sweet potato casserole, roasted Brussels sprouts, the Chop Salad, and the lettuce wedge salad. For dessert, the Chocolate Duo is our favorite.

Valet parking was spot on, we had the best waitress ever, very friendly, attentive, very descriptive of the foods and items recommended certain things to us very very helpful and kind. Remembered our birthday girls name and paid particular attention to her. The food was over-the-top delicious — we will definitely go there again. Thank you everyone at Ruth Chris for a fantastic evening!

The food was great, even the Mac N Cheese was oddly delicious. But for two we were lucky to escape at just above $200 (no alcohol). No matter the food it's just too expensive. Each item is individually priced. Even the single serving of Mac N Cheese was around $13. And our waiter kind of dumped us at the end and we had to settle our bill with another waiter. Valet parking at $8. If you are in the upper crust financially you will love this place. But I will be having fine dining somewhere else at half the price . . . or less.

The staff was lovely. Attentive service. However the food was overall disappointing. Over several visits over the years the quality of the food has declined. I will admit when I eat at a more expensive restaurant I have an expectation that the food will be well executed. Starting with the delivery of warm bread I was met with immediate disappointment. It appeared as cheap frozen bread from the grocery store and tasted like it. Appetizers were also disappointing Calamari was overly chewy , the lobster biases was better but a little flat tasting, we had two filets one large and one petite. Both were overcooked and one of them was Oscar style topped with a lobster the lobster was overcooked rubbery the bernaise sauce was perfect. sides were scalloped potatoes the potatoes undercooked with a large lump of warmed cheese no layers of cream and baked to perfection, I am amazed they would have sent that out of the kitchen. the broccoli was well cooked We took our desert home for later and the banana pudding was good but the crust underbaked. In the future when I desire a good steak it won't be at this restaurant

my husband and i went to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary and from the moment we called to make the reservation to the moment we walked out the door was an EXCELLENT experience! every employee remembered it was our anniversary and multiple employees came to our table to congratulate us and make sure everything was good. Kristi was our waitress and she was a top of the notch waitress! she was so genuine and outgoing and upbeat! i might just request her to be my waitress every time haha. the food was seriously PERFECT! my steak could not have been cooked better. and they decorated our table for our anniversary with rose petals and gave us a dessert on the house for our anniversary. we will be going back there for every special occasion from here on out. thank you for your excellent service and for making my anniversary dinner one to remember!

We were so excited to go here for a very special dinner. Needless to say the food was very average, and so disappointing. Food should be outstanding for the price they charge. My steak was almost rubbery for a 60$ steak…awful. It’s a long drive for us to get there…will not go back.

As you would expect, the quality of the food and wine were excellent. We had a table in the bar area and the service did not quite match up to the quality expected. It was fine, just not great. As an example, no one came back to the table to check in on the meal, or the wine etc..
