We tried 4 different tapas, and they were all great. Our favorite was the Spinach/Potato Gnocchi, and the Parmesan/Rosemary Fries, however all the tapas were a little too pricey given the small serving of each tapas. Service was good. It is a small place, seating a little too close/tight for us, but still enjoyed a delicious meal. Place fills up quickly after 5pm, and parking can be a challenge in this area of downtown SLC.

We wanted to find a cool local hotspot for dinner, and a local recommended Eva so we gave it a try. It did not disappoint! It's a smaller place, very cozy, but there was no line so we got right in. The dishes are small, and the style is sort of a shared plate environment where people are encouraged to share their meals with one another. When you order, the meals don't all come out at the same time. They just come as they're ready, and everyone shares. It was a really fun environment, and the food was all excellent. I was particularly fond of the steak. It was the best steak I've had in a very long time. But everything was good. I'm glad we went, and I definitely recommend giving it a try.

Fresh and carefully considered ingredients were evident in each of the many plates that the 5 of us shared. We all agreed that each item we tasted was exceptionally delicious and the plates provided larger quantities that at other tapas restaurants! I especially enjoyed the pizzas and cauliflower, while others loved the pork rolled in bacon (Oink, Oink, Oink). The bread and chopped salad were delicious as well. Although there were only a few white wines available by the glass, I tried something new and it was wonderful!
We couldn’t get a reservation so decided to go early (5:30), and were seated immediately. It filled up quickly though, so go early, or get a reservation.
Eva is located in the middle of downtown, within walking distance from our hotel, The Grand America (also highly recommended) and near live music on Saturday.

First off, the service was great. But other than that it really had no redeeming factors. Over priced. We got six drinks, five small plates and the bill came to over $150. Which is fine if the food was good but it wasn’t. Bland, boring and lacked flavor.

We went here after seeing the Tabernacle Choir. It was relatively late. We were hungry. We walked from Temple Square. The place was jumping. They serve small plates. We ordered several to share. They were all good. It was a lot of fun.
I remember the grilled lamb, a spanish salad, grilled beets, and gnoci in a cream sauce.

Go! Go! Go! Best small plates restaurant. All made to order with top quality ingredients . Crispy trout was light with savory/sweet sauce, but, lobster ravioli was to die for! Homemade, thin, hand formed dough served with a light cream sauce with mushrooms and veggies. Best I've had! Service was prompt and knowledgeable in all areas. Lively, trending atmosphere in a cozy setting with reasonable prices. We had 5 different plates each was creative and delicious. Eva's did not disappoint and definitely is a hidden jewel in the middle of downtown Salt Lake City.

Delicious plates for sharing. We had 7 in our party (several vegans) so we had quite a variety of the menu selections. Every dish was cooked to perfection. The sauces and seasonings were amazing. Delicious pizza, gnocchi, French fries, crispy calamari, salad, trout, meatballs, roasted beets, snow peas. One of us had room for a date pudding dessert, yum!

Hidden little gem in Downtown SLC. Warm, cozy and enjoyable dinner for my wife and I on a snowy night. Service was excellent and the dishes were the perfect size. The Spinach and Potato Gnocchi was flavorful and light, while the Calamari was surprisingly just as good. Lightly breaded and cooked perfect

I found Eva’s on trip advisor. I was pleasantly surprised by the creative choices on the menu. We had grilled asparagus with poached egg and prosciutto, pig and fig pizza and the gnocchi. All were great but the gnocchi was to die for.

Great for sharing - for 2 people 4 items is a good amount. I got the pesto gnocchi, cauliflower, a pizza, and daily salad. The gnocchi was such an incredible, buttery flavor. And the cauliflower had great texture and contrast to the ricotta.

Small place that gets crowded and seating is bunched together. Limited openings during peak times so get a reservation. Had several different tapas (small plates) and the food was outstanding. Definitely worth a try while in SLC

Came in for dinner on a Thursday evening. Had a couple glasses of wine which were good. The salmon special they had was delicious. Salmon sat on top of some corn succotash. Always love the cauliflower dish. The fried chicken was really good. Service was good. Chocolate cake type dessert was yummy. Will come again. One of our favorites!

Excellent meal, wine, soft drinks and welcome. We were a walk in, just off a flight and it was exactly what we were after. Everything we tried was at least very good, some such as the crispy trout were stand out. Excellent value too.

What a lovely surprise! Great food and excellent service. Two dishes stood out for us… the crispy trout had a to die for sauce, and the steak was delicious too! Fresh salad and veggies.
