The place was really cute, great service. The free soup and appetizers excellent. And then we got our food ordered, and what a disaster ! The cheese fondue was super salty ! And the grilled chicken for my husband ,wasn’t grilled but burned ! The...8 euros green salad was a joke ! 5 green leafes with dressing on the side ! What a rip off ! Also we ordered cava first ,and it was completely flat. It was very expensive, and the food was really bad.More

Thanks for your review, we've been waiting for it. Since the 1st minute of your visit. Starting with the complaint that we don't serve the raclette « French-style) - to the end with the Creme Catalan, where you didn't even know it had cinnamon in it...More

We were pleased to visit chalet suizo. The food was very good with extra easy bits served in addition to order. The veal cordon blue was great but a huge portion, still persevered and finished it! The beef stroganoff was very flavoursome. Would recommend and...maybe suggest ask for a doggy bag if need be.More

The restaurant is nice. We did eat on the terrasse but we had two heaters. The stuff is really friendly. We received a soup from the restaurant and a starter. We had an excellent cheese fondue.

This is a lovely restaurant with really good food at a fair price. I was there on a Sunday afternoon when entertainment was on with Noldi an all round entertainer and if I am there I do a few songs with him. But this restaurant...you really can't beat it but book before you go, you won't be disappointedMore

We have visited Chalet Suizo first in 2016 and as a swiss national just moved to the Costa Blanca I was pleased to have some home food, however over time the quality got worse. Where were the real swiss dishes like Bratwurst , Wurstsalat etc???...We recently visited chalet Suizo in Summer 2019 and the place looked tired, Umbrellas who did not provide enough shade, a seating area due to inadequate decor was unusable, the outside toilet facility’s were defect. I ordered myself a raclette cheese dish which was poorly presented. This should be on one or two little pans so you can melt the cheese to your liking, I received a microwaved pancake of cheese, with a gherkin, a silver skinned onion and paprika smeared all around the outside of the plate, so you had no choice to apply this as you would like and not to mention the warmed up baby potatoes who’s must have been days old!!! The taste and presentation was poor ;that is for sure. . Also the Chef there likes salt, the complimentary soup was over salted, yet again, as on visits before when I did complain. My overall rating of Chalet Suizo , A tired looking restaurant, swiss food should bei of high standard but not at this restaurant und there was only one choice of a rose wine, so it was take it or leave it. As a swiss national I was overall disappointed and the quality of food offered was well overpriced.More

Second visit to this restaurant for me but first for my wife we were with friends who had been here on many occasions so guided us through the menu which is extensive and as others have said could be a tad confusing. The staff were...very pleasant and attentive which was nice and multi lingual which made life a little easier. We ordered the cordon Bleu but was advised by friends not to have a starter due to a bowl of soup and some nibbles being served before the main course which were delicious. Our mains were then served which looked fabulous and after devouring mine I have to say it tasted fabulous, my wife struggled with hers because of the portion size but enjoyed it non the less. We enjoyed our visit and will certainly be back for another visitMore

We have driven past this restaurant many times and decided to give it a try at lunch time. The restaurant was empty apart from one other couple. The courtyard is nice and the overall setting generates a pleasant ambiance. The staff were lovely and keen...to provide a good service. The food was tasty and enjoyable, but we thought over priced for what we had. When you choose the main course you also receive soup of the day (in this instance Carrot...which was slightly over salted) a salad, and trio of small tasters ( manchego cheese etc). The mains were enjoyable (Veal Schniztel in a lemon sauce and Stroganoff). The bill was a couple of cents short of fifty euros. Considering we only had two glasses of rose, a beer and a small bottle of water, this was a little steep.More

Friends had recently visited and gave a good report. Unfortunately our experience was not satisfactory. The menu was far too complicated and this was compounded by the fact that we had to wait an hour and fifty minutes for our main meal - the meal...did include two simple starters which were not up to much and by the time our meal arrived it was just too late in the evening to eat. Meals are fairly expensive compared to other local restaurants which offer much better quality and value for money. Although our villa is close by we will not be going back.More

We visited this restaurant recently as we had been before and had good meals. This time we were not impressed, one of our party ordered snitzel and it was not good! There were two pieces of meat on the plate both of the same size...in a hard breadcrumb coating and the meat had shrunk inside the coating! this was very obviously a frozen bought in item. In a good restaurant the meat should be coated in a light fluffy coating. It is shame that the chef can use such ingredients in an upmarket expensive restaurant.More

A very long Individual dish menu in several languages (no menu del día offered) which took ages to read through and by the time we did, we had forgotten most of it. Calves liver, Veal Steak, Beef Strogonoff and similar with authentic Rossi potatoes or...chips and vegetables. At the time of our visit they were celebrating the new Asparagus season with a whole menu featuring white and green Asparagus to accompany the meat dishes. The main course was price marked and before it was served a range of 'tasters' were presented from the kitchen included in that price so a E22.50 main course included dry bread, (very nice) picantes soup, a rather boring green salad with choice of homemade dressings and a small platter of smoked ham and salmon bits to tempt the appetite. We were certainly full by the end of the main course, so much so that we did not want a dessert only coffee to end the meal. Wine was bought by the glass. The total bill came to just over E30 per person and was not really value for money. My Veal was rather dry but the rest of the party were satisfied with their choices especially the Calves Liver. All the plates were presented with a small jam pot of carrots and other vegetables which looked very odd sitting in the centre of the plate! We sat outside on the shaded terrace and were served politely and efficiently. A lot of effort seemed to be made in the overall presentation but somehow the food did not live up to expectations.More
