Found by chance during a walk and decided to try it the same evening. Service was excellent and friendly, welcomed with a snack and sparkling wine. Great dinner overall, excellent culinary and well-made dishes.

Went here with 5 Work friends and had a great leisurely dinner. Stayed at local hotel and this restaurant sent a van to pick us up (free). After being seated were welcomed with complimentary glass of proseco and bruschetta. We all got either meat or...fish dinner which is 4/5 courses. The ‘easy’ dinner has one pasta but I wanted to try both so got regular meat dinner. Antipasto great with two cheeses and multiple meats. Both pastas were very good but loved the ravioli! Steak good taste but lacked wow of earlier courses. Dessert made up for it! Also had cappuccino, limoncello and cookies. Then we had to wait for driver so more limoncello and grappa provided. What a fun night. This restaurant has another location with different menu.More

I was warmly greeted as I arrived when they opened at 7pm and was served a complementary glass of sparklingly wine as a sat down. A nice touch. Had the prosciutto as appetizer which was good. The steak as an entree was good too as...were the grilled veggies. Had the house wine which was okay but quite ordinary and I wasn’t offered a choice. The waiter made my rating a four star instead of three.More

Came to this restuarant in 2017 and had to revisit in 2018. This is one of the most welcoming restaurants I have been to. The staff and service they give is first class. A welcoming processo and the little extras you get makes you feel...you are being well looked after. The food is fantastic and quality of wine is the same too. Best of all is the value, you walk away full and happy and feel you had fantastic value. A must visit.More

This is a tipical Italian "trattoria" with a very friendly and international staff. The menu is very rich of all the most delicious Italian disches going from fish to meat. The restaurant seems to be quite famous for its rich Italian wine's list. If you...stay at the Abacus hotel, the hotel itself will offer you a transfer service to the restaurant free of charge. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to stay in the "Rest San Giovanni's area".More
