We were given a recommendation to this restaurant by the waitress we had at 801 Chophouse the night before. Going to most any unfamiliar restaurant on a Tuesday night can be akin to going on a blind date with a person you're told has, "A great personality". How did our 'date' go? We'll certainly be back for more when we return to Omaha.

The Boiler Room provides an excellent dining experience in a unique converted factory space. The food and ambiance we both excellent. Service was a tiny bit slow in a couple of instances, both nothing serious. Our waitress was quite professional and pleasant. Definitely a great place for a "date night" meal in Old Market.

My wife and I randomly stopped by here while we were in Omaha for a wedding; I figured you can't leave Omaha without having at least one steak. I really liked the aesthetics of the place; we were seated right over the kitchen and could look down and watch as our meal was being prepared. I had a medium-rare ribeye, and my wife had a different cut that was medium rare. Unfortunately my steak was more medium, than medium rare but the flavor/taste was pretty good. It was a nice steak, but I wouldn't call it outstanding. If we are ever back in Omaha I would come back again and try a different meal.

We were really excited and the moment we walked in we got more excited. Really great setup and neat looking restaurant. The menu looked amazing. We were quickly let down though by the service and food. The food was fine, but under-seasoned and just nothing to write home about. Our server was not attentive and only came by to take order, never asked for another cocktail because our food was dropped off by someone who said he'd send over the server. Then had to flag her down for our check.

As with many people, Covid 19 has been keeping us out of restaurants. Having lived and travelled to many places and eaten many wonderful meals, this is the first place on my list to eat in Nebraska. Fantastic ambiance, super cool venue, unbelievable service, excellent drinks and wine, outstandingly creative food extremely full of flavors. Just love this place. Maybe will venture out later this summer if we get the pandemic under control. Thanks for continuing in these tough times! We've had many excellent meals at Boiler Room!

Amazing, fun place! Very cool interior in an industrial, loft building. Wine steward was very knowledgeable. It is a great place for a quiet, romantic dinner! We had their seasonal squash soup as first course-hands down, best we’ve ever tasted! Scallop and pork entrees were excellent and portions generous. Can’t wait to come back!

My wife and I were looking for nice evening experience. The Boiler Room did not disappoint. Everyone we engaged with were knowledgable and very personable. Their recommendations for food and drink were spot on. We will definitely visit this establishment again.

This is such a unique place in this old building and the food and service are spot on! It is pricey but the experience is worth it! The wine list is extensive and they are arranged by country.

My partner and I ate here last night to celebrate his birthday. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. We requested just tap water which came in a small glass at room temperature - no ice-although we were offered sparking water or other bottled water for a price. No big deal but the service was more like I would expect at Denny's or Applebees. The waiter seemed very rushed each time he stopped at our table and I had a hard time hearing him. I admit I have some hearing deficit when there is a lot of background noise. I'm in my 60's, We ordered the charcuterie as an appetizer which was actually very good. The bread that was brought was very good.
My partner ordered the sirloin steak and I ordered the duck breast. I could hardly chew the duck breast which seemed undercooked at that. My partner stated that his sirloin steak was "OK" but not nearly as good as anticipated. Their service was appallingly bad. The waiter never spent more than about 15 seconds at our table and that was just to deliver food or drinks. I ordered iced tea and I had to flag down the waiter each time I needed it refiled. I felt like I was being a nuisance by asking and the waiter seemed irritable. The place was busy and possibly understaffed. It seems to happen a lot these days. I probably won't be going back anytime too soon which is a shame as it used to be a very good restaurant. We are not really that picky and I really think this a fair assessment of our experience.

The worst service at this price in town!!!!!!!! If you are looking for a high end experience, service is a huge part of it. Do yourself a favor and dine somewhere else!

We had a group of three on a Saturday night. The Boiler Room is a little off the beaten path but not far down the hill from the heart of the Old Market. The upper level dining room affords a birds eye view of the kitchen on the lower level - I thought that was unique.
We had a croquette appetizer that was amazing, then the seafood and lamb entrees we had were equally good. The wine list is pricey but pretty nice. Overall I really liked Boiler Room and would return.

Absolutely loved our experience here. It is a little on the pricey side but for special occasions it’s a great place to celebrate. They have a very extensive wine list and wonderful service. (From the hostess, to the server, to the busser - everyone was awesome! Great welcome to a wonderful evening) We had the charcuterie & sheep’s milk cheese for our appetizer. My husband had the salmon dish and I had the wagyu steak. The flavors were amazing! We will definitely be back!

A coworker and I decided to try the Boiler Room which had been recommended to us. Service was very good. Between our waiter, another waitress and the person who seated us, the staff took care of everything we needed promptly. We ordered the charcuterie appetizer which included a variety of house cured meats. When the waiter served this he went into great detail on what each item was. We couldn’t remember what each item was, but everything was unique and delicious. We both ordered the grilled Morgan ranch wagyu skirt steak which was also unique and delicious. For desert I ordered a chocolate cake that was a cheese cake with round peanut brittle type toppings and vanilla ice cream. Again a delicious taste. With everything prepared by a chef our bill was about what I expected and worth the cost. I will likely return for another good meal in the future.
