This restaurant is truly excellent. Make a reservation. Great atmosphere and service. I had heard that Clancy’s is the Galatoire’s of Uptown - I agree for the most part, and the location is easier to access than the Quarter and more relaxing as a result....Go soon and often.More

This restaurant has been on my must try list for a while and we finally got there to celebrate a special birthday. Every appetizer, entree and dessert was fantastic. The fried oysters and brie appetizer, the puppy drum muddy waters, risotto with lobster and lemon...ice box cake were absolute standouts!More

Every time I come back here I love it more! The cocktails are incredible, the service is impeccable, the food is outstanding. ThIs may well be the best, under-recognized restaurant in NOLA. But, they may well want to keep it that way.

Just had dinner here again, have been several times. The quality of food and service is reliably excellent, and priced accordingly. Oysters in Brie is our favorite appetizer, period, and the Lemon Icebox Pie is brilliant. Entrees are delicious, but be aware the cooking is...traditional, not light. Nice wine list and excellent cocktails. It is wildly popular and atmosphere can be lively at times, reserve table several days in advance, bar seating is available.More

We came here recently for my 70th birthday. We are very familiar with the New Orleans restaurant scene. Spectacular food and service at Clancy’s.

This is a local restaurant. We were perhaps the only patrons that were not known to the staff. They treated us like locals. The service was amazing. The food was incredible. The entire experience was how fine dining should be done.

Perfect in every way. Perfect service, perfect food and perfect wine! I had the mushroom and shrimp risotto and it was incredible. Although their website doesn’t specify, be advised that the dress code is definitely business casual at least.

If you want to step back to a time of neighborhood dining, with experienced staff and dishes that are perfect every time, you need to experience Clancy's. This is what fine dining should aspire to be. I only have fried oysters here and they prepare...it with brie on top in the half shell. Just perfect. I could stop there and be happy but the fresh fish dishes are always enjoyable as are the desserts. My trips to New Orleans are not complete until I have visited Clancy's Restaurant. Thank you all for the experience!More
