We were a party of four with a reservation which was needed. Good food and atmosphere bring lots of clustomers. We started with coctails and then ordered kale salad, steak tartar, grilled octopus, lobster scampi, porini papardelle. The deserts were also wonderful.
Great service and...knowledge of the menu. Would come back.More
Very good food in a “stimulating” atmosphere. We enjoyed the octopus appetizer (which was heavier on the garbanzos than octopus but tasty nonetheless). Our entrees were the chitarra (lamb meatballs on pasta) and tuna fusilli puttanesca. All delicious, and the service was great. It’s a...busy place but not annoyingly so. We enjoyed it.More
We had a lovely evening dining at Cento. Everything was excellent from wine, appetizers to dessert. The most pleasant part was the outstanding service given to us all evening by our server, Katelyn! We will be back!
I visited Cento Restaurant mid of March 2020. in spite of being there on a Friday evening the restaurant was quite empty, may be because University of Madison had been closed because of Corona virus.
Regardless of this the service was very friendly and attentive....The quality of food was excellent and the selection of drinks was big enough to meet everybodys needs.
I can recommend the place.More
Not your typical Italian restaurant. It goes way beyond the pastas and pizzas yet has those items on the menu also along with some very good entrees and fancy appetizers. Dessert menu was also very creative. One of my new favorite restaurants...don’t know why I...haven’t gone there before.More
The breakfast was good but I wouldn't say that it was spectacular. The interior was very classy. Will try it for dinner but it was a bit on the pricey side for breakfast. I will say, if any of the 4 of us were drinkers...the brunch special seemed like a good price for 2 alcoholic drinks, pastry and an entree.More
Just OK in my opinion. Restaurant was quite loud, between other guests and the music. Ordered Bolognese - if you want bread to come with your meal, which is usually pretty standard and complimentary with most Italian restaurants, you have to pay $3 here. I...had tried out both Cento and Naples 15 for Italian spots downtown and for those looking for the quieter, more traditional romantic style Italian setting, I’d suggest Naples 15. This restaurant was definitely more contemporary, not authentic homemade style Italian dishes.More
