One of the best burger spots anywhere. Everything they do, burgers, fries, pints, it’s all A1. I never hit the ‘Boro without hitting Hops Burger.

It was a great time with friends. Everything was served as ordered and the burger cooked perfectly. I especially liked the onion rings. I like that they are fresh and not frozen. Will definitely come back!

Read the reviews, decided to try it out. Very busy on the weekends. Took almost 50 minutes to get food, and I was worried my diabetic father was about to pass out at the table. Luckily he loved his burger. Mine was a little under...cooked in spots, but you could tell it was high quality meat. My mom got a salad that wasn’t correct, waiter didn’t seem to care but again they were very busy. Parking is a little crowded in area too. I would try a second time at not peak hours.More

Create your own burger - good burger, sweet potato fries. Excellent regular fries the right amount of crispy and seasoning. Towards the end of our meal we felt rushed by the server. It was odd, since there wasn’t anyone waiting for our table either. Geesh...Honestly we could eat there again but I felt like there are better burgers out there.More

After visiting both locations on various occasions, I can honestly say I have no idea why Hops is so hyped up. I’ve had a few of their burgers, the weekly specials and their everyday ones, and none have been great. The best thing they have...food wise is the onion ring appetizer. At my last visit to the Spring Garden location, the waitress did not come back to the table after taking the order except to bring the bill. Thankfully my beer and one glass of water she had brought before taking the order was sufficient to get me through the few fries and two bites of burger I actually ate. Thankfully the waitress was kind about not charging me for my uneaten food, though the bill was still close to $40. There is a plethora of excellent restaurants in Greensboro, I highly advise choosing another.More

We have eaten at Hops for years and enjoy the burgers. Now that they have added homemade fries, it is really good but this last visit was off. I ordered my burger well done and my husband ordered medium. Both came out burnt. The fries...came out piping hot.........even though my husband had ordered a side salad, not fries. It took forever for the food to come out. There doesn't look like there is a shortage of workers as they look like they are working their tails off. I don't know what the problem was but they don't need for this experience to be the norm.More

Came for drinks while we waited for our reservation at Scrambled Southern Diner next door. Saw that they had a French Onion Burger and decided I had to try it. When I say this was the BEST burger I’ve ever had. Completely unexpected and made...to perfection. My boyfriend has the North Carolinian and he loved his too. Highly recommend and they have an excellent beer selection!More

Could not understand how a burger joint could be the top-rated restaurant in Greensboro but now we are convinced. Extremely busy when we arrived but our bartender swept us into a seat before our first drink came up. The special PB&J Burger was perhaps the...most unexpected bite of deliciousness ever!More

We were traveling from out of town to visit colleges. We decided to check out Hops based on reviews. So glad we did! These burgers were the best we ever had! Our burgers were cooked perfectly. I had a side of truffle fries. They were...good but could use a little more truffle oil. My son had the onion rings - they were huge. Unfortunately, the burgers filled us up quickly so we did not have much room for our sides. The sweet potato fries were amazing as well. There was a long delay in getting our food and our server discounted our burgers by 50%. Fortunately, the burgers were worth the wait. If we travel back to this area, I know my boys will beg to come back here.More

According to their online menu they have a gluten free bun and a gluten free veggie patty. As for the sides, that I'm not sure of. The sides do not indicate as to whether they are or not GF. It might be best to call them... More
