Super cute and hip ambiance, nice service and very good food. The General Tso’s fried chicken and waffles are not to be missed (we ordered a plate for the table so we could all share). The baked eggs and brisket doesn’t so much as come “with” fries but it is encased with fries interlaced with cheese and drizzled with a spicy red sauce. A bit more than I expected! The avocado toast, burrata toast and fish sandwich were a bit more nutritionally balanced. The coffees are all espresso-based and quite good. It’s mostly very open and airy with a side room that’s more of a hideaway and very cozy. Pro tips: call for reservations if nothing looks available online. Also note that the bathroom door is a sliding pocket door.

I’m rarely in Brooklyn, but since my company (Nyc Streets Eats and Treats....find us on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter! :) had an appointment for a pop up, I decided to spend the day in Brooklyn and check out some hot spots. As a fan of instagrammable spots and asthetically pleasing atmospheres, this was a must find. Tucked down a cute little alleyway, the entrance is adorable and welcoming. With plenty of spots for picture opportunities before you even walk in, this is perfect for every Instagram and Snapchat story. (Let’s be real, that’s what it’s all about correct? The perfect picture? :) Anyway, upon entering, I was clearly the first one in for lunch, and chose a seat in the “main dining area” (you can go to the left or the right upon entering, and the right was very open and airy and almost “cafe” like. Very beautiful. I nabbed a spot and immediately got a cappuccino, which was artfully designed and tasted lovely. I ordered the cheese melt, and sat to wait. My ONLY complaint is that food took a while. About 35 minutes, which was a bit extensive for lunch. There was only one server, but he did a great job st managing everyone and by the time I left it was definitely more crowded. I will say however, the grill cheese was worth the wait. It was perfectly crisp and toasty, burnt in all the right places. Multiple different cheeses tucked between two hefty sourdough slices, I ate every last bite. I would go back just to keep having this sandwich. The fries were delightful as well, light and airy and covered in this slightly spicy seasoning that was so yummy. I’d love to come back to check out their cocktail list, and perhaps these Nutella bites I’ve heard so much about.

Already walking on the street your eyes are caught by this very Instagramable building! The entrance of the restaurant is on the right side, and is quite nicely enlightened. Once you get in, again fabulous decoration, very nice and cozy corners to spend a great evening with some friends or your beloved one. The place is cool, the people super nice, great vibes! We were there with some friends, and all together we ordered almost the full menu and I must say, it was gorgeous! My absolute favorite was the risotto, a great mix of Chinese and Italian inspirations. The tempura long beans were also delicious. The salmon bowl was quite cool as you have to beak a rice cracker to get to the great mixture of salmon, goat cheese and avocado. As a French girl I have to say that the duck confit was very well cooked and that the veggies were delicious (the glazed carrots tasted like heaven!). Oh and I almost forgot the foccacia: warm, crusty to deep into olive oil... yummy! I can only recommend you to go. You will spend a fabulous moment!

When you first walk into Loosies it seems like a hipster infested hole in the wall with interesting people watching. But when you go to the restaurant and the backyard it gets really really cool. The dim lights and the funky almost gothic like decor is really neat. Definitely come to Loosies for good cocktails and a not so cookie cutter ambiance!!

We recently visited Brooklyn primarily to have lunch at Peter Luger. While awaiting our reservation time, we stopped at this small cafe called Loosie's nearby at 6th Street under the Williamsburg Bridge. This is a small, eclectic and hip place with interesting indoor and outdoor seating. We stopped for coffee drinks, finding them decent. Espresso was citrusy and rather bitter, better for milk coffee drinks than taken on its own. The Cortado, for more or less the same reason, tasted better. Not really a place for great coffees, it must be said that Loosie's was a relaxing place to get off our feet and have a rest. Free wifi with a strong signal helped pass the time during our coffee break here.

We had a great brunch here on a recent Sunday. The light-filled space is very welcoming, as are the staff. Our food was interesting and delicious and the presentation was great. Two of us enjoyed the Quinoa bowl with avocado and a six-minute egg (yum), another had the yogurt and granola (looked so beautiful) and chicken and waffles made the fourth person in our group very pleased.

This restaurant was such a pleasant brunch spot. My friend and I went on Saturday for brunch and it was quiet and so cozy. Loved the decor and the environment of the restaurant very much!! The food was good and the staff very friendly. I will absolutely visit again maybe even for dinner next time

Loosie's Kitchen is the ideal hip spot to impress out of towners (including locals who are hesitant to cross over into South Williamsburg HA). Guests must enter through the narrow bar in front, then passed the kitchen. The space is super cute & colorful -- basically, if Urban Outfitters was a restaurant. There's an outdoor deck/patio to hang during warmer months. Quality of food is amazing; quantity is poor. I find the plates to be too small for its value. The ambiance definitely makes up for it -- Insta-worthy!

3 of ua were wandering around Williamsburg and came across this gem of a place. the owner happened to be outside (we didn't know) and he suggested we go in, through the bar out the back into what can only be described as a glorious oasis of nooks and crannies. we stayed for a beer followed by some of the most delicious food - we were leaving the next day and only for that we would have returned. love love love.

I wasn't sure to expect when I came to Loosie's Kitchen. You enter through the bar into a very hipster and oddly shaped restaurant. It was still too cold to be outdoors, maybe next time. I ended up leaving very happy. The roasted carrots were excellent. The mussels were very flavorful. The beef was braised and tender. All capped off with a huge portion or neutella beignets that were perfectly fried and which we couldn't finish. I'd definitely come back here.
