Fantastic little find in Greenpoint section of Brooklyn. Diner atmosphere serving breakfast platters, hot and cold sandwiches, salads, burgers and Mexican food. Fast friendly service at reasonable prices. Delicious food. Highly recommend!

The food was good and the service was fast. It was great for a quick meal when some of us wanted lunch and some were still looking for breakfast!

Unassuming restaurant which we'd walked past twice and not noticed. It's just a cafe style place but the food is out of this world and it's cheap. Wished we found it earlier in our stay.

Very generous portions of very tasty food. My son and I had the chicken and steak fajitas, my husband the enchiladas and my youngest the bacon cheeseburger. The service was good and the prices were very reasonable. We all enjoyed it and would recommend it.

My wife and I visited the Acapulco when we stayed at the Box House Hotel. If you want authentic Mexican food in a friendly place, visit here. The food was delicious, the staff were helpful and very knowledgeable and the general ambiance felt warm and welcoming. If you're looking for fine dining, walk away, if you're looking for a taste of Mexican / Brooklyn and great prices and atmosphere, walk in.

Near our hotel in Brooklyn. Came here for a quick lunch. The food was mouthwatering. We had a variety of shrimp fajitas, chorizo burritos, chichen tacos. All good and the prices are cheap.

This small diner on Manhattan avenue is probably the best value Mexican food we ever had this side of the Rio Grande. A small and clean diner serving mainly locals (and many apparently of Mexican origin ) with enormous choices and a fresh cooking in front of you. The service was quick and efficiency prevailed over smiles. After 1pm the egg choices were no longer available so we settled on the most amazing Tacos de carnitas and two
Chicken and guacamole burritos, served with rice and equally delicious. Very low prices at 6 to 7 $ per serving, and quite large portions. Superb!

What else does anyone need to know? If you enjoy Mexican food, this is a winner. The other patrons were mostly Mexicans who look satisfied. This is a sure sign that the food is the real deal. While a dive (i.e. Don't take your date there), we don't mind at all & would return/recommend.
It is around the corner from where we stayed at the super cute Box House Hotel.

If you're in Greenpoint you know your food options are limited. Acapulco is one of the only great lunch spots around and it's certainly the best value.

If you are looking for a good and traditional Latin American place, good and cheap you should visit this place. More a dinner than a restaurant, this place is a good stop before a saint vitus experience (the best rock and metal venue in NYC, very popular. One of the NYC classic) or a greenpoint Sunday walk.

If you like Mexican food and are looking for a reasonable price for a great meal, look no further than Acculpoco. I work in the area often and try to go here as much as I can. Small, nothing fancy about the place except just great dishes and a nice variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner. FRESH always.

This place was recommended to us and I'm glad for it. Really tasty, authentic Mexican food. No fuss, this place is all about the food rather than being showy. Highly recommend the tacos, but the other plates of food that we saw look great too.
