Had a reservation for 5 but when we arrived there was only one waitress on duty and she was stressed. We had to wait a long time to place our order but once we did, everything worked out. The owner came in and covered some...tables and the kitchen staff held it down. Appetizers and salads were lovely and delicious, if pricey. Main dishes were terrific. Desserts were decadent. Loved this place, went for brunch with a guest on 6/9. The bison tartar, duck wing, hangar steak and foie gras dessert were out of this world. The cheese plate needs work but overall great value at under $90. Would recommend...

Recently my wife and I, along with our son and significant other, had brunch here. While most reviews give it a great rating, that was not our experience - maybe they were just having a bad day. I ordered the Eggs Benedict. Maybe I'm a...traditionalist, but Eggs Benny should have hollandaise sauce. Farmer's had something perhaps resembling hollandaise but rather spicy (I like many spicy foods, but not when ordering Eggs Benny). Menu should indicate they are not traditional. The fries that came with it were cold - not cool -cold. I would have sent them back but it looked like there was only one waiter. The two ladies each had waffles with fruit. There was a TON of what appeared to be fresh fruit. They both said the fruit was great but the waffles were very dry. My son had a Crocque Madame, which he said was pretty good, but his fries were cool (better than my cold ones). We also found the room to be very loud.Too many good brunch places in Fort Greene and Brooklyn in general to give this place another try.More

This is an extraordinary restaurant, one of the finest in an area known for its dining establishments. The boar was of the highest quality, really world-class. The tagliatelle entrée, though small, was brilliantly prepared and we fought over it, it was that good. Those in...our party who ordered mustard-glazed salmon quite enjoyed it. Our waitress on March 28 was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. She could easily have been a Michelin star waitress. Random chose this restaurant as I was driving by starving, based on the name and A grade. It was pretty quiet for 7PM afterwork. The ambience and service were fantastic, and when the food came out what a decadent treat. Everything was cooked t perfection!...The Octopus carpaccio and Roasted Cauliflower starters were beautiful, followed by our main courses of short ribs and hanger steak, which were paired with a smooth Cab... we left a bit of room for dessert - creme brulee and chantilly strawberry something.....sooo yummyyy from start to finish. My family and I enjoyed a great meal Christmas eve. A party of 5 had different needs and the menu and chef accommodated all of it for us. Serving sizes were ample and the taste range was excellent. Wait staff very helpful.
