Famous NY Slice

There's a whole list of celebrities like Jimmy Fallon and Kelly Ripa & a photo wall of others who'll tell you Joe's is the best slice in NYC. Joe Pozzuoli is from Naples, Italy, the birthplace of pizza. He established Joe's Pizza back in 1975 in Manhattan and he opened this one in Williamsburg Brooklyn in 2015. Not known for fancy dancy, it is known for it's plain slice but I was offered a pepperoni and took it for $4 cash. The crust had the perfect crunch and sitting outside on a bench on the sidewalk folding my slice like a true New Yorker, I was happy to get my fix of the famous NY slice.

Hands down one of the best pizzas I've had!

Everyone likes their pizza a certain way and Joe’s is just perfect for me. Thin crust, but sturdy. Not too light on the cheese, but not too much. Toppings were just perfect and not overloaded. I only had the opportunity to try one pizza place on our trip, but I have to say I made the perfect choice. Joe’s did not disappoint. Three pizzas cost us about $15 and we were full till dinner. Service was fast, even though there were lots waiting for their order. There’s only standing room to eat but really. you don’t need to sit. Can prob just eat on the go, but we got lucky and found a small space for two. Would def recommend this place.

Great NY Pizza

Visited here while in NYC. They're close enough to the 9/11 memorial to stop in. The pizza is fantastic. If I had to knock it for anything, the crust wasn't as well done as I'd have ultimately liked but the flavor was great. Wasn't overly greasy and the prices are great for NY. Fast, affordable, great pizza.

Good pizza but take care at the payment!!!!!!!!!!!

I had an excellent experience with the pizza but not with the service!!! Last Saturday (20th of April) at 11:19 pm, we bought three pizzas slide, and you charged us 120$!!! I called the restaurant, and they gave me the wrong email... I am kindly requesting a refund for my credit card.

Food on a budget in NY - Joe's Pizza Williamsburg

We wanted to spend little on our trip to NY, but also try everything and have some American experiences. Excellent pizza with a slightly different taste. Must try - it's ilveto NY pizza. Be careful, not all are original shops. The one in Williamsburg certainly is. Place to sit outside under cover.

Wow! What amazing pizza with great choices! Luckily there wasn’t a queue at the time we went as the one in Manhattan had a very large queue! Would definitely recommend

Great slice

This is the ultimate slice stop in NYC. Went in around 11:30 to beat the rush, got 2 good size slices of pepperoni. This is the best pizza I have ever eaten, great crust and toppings, not greasy, great taste as well. A must when in NYC.

Extremely rude staff. Avoid.

I went there last night. The cashier made a mistake in my check (charged me less) and while I was having my meal inside the shop, came over very aggressively suggesting I had deliberately tried to "steal" a pizza slice. He even demanded that I paid for it immediately ("right now", he said). I told him I would do so after I finished my pizza and that he was being rude and causing an embarrassment. He didn't seem to care and went on with the mafia style attitude and language. In sum: a very rude and dumb employee helping to ruin a business reputation. For me, a tourist, it was a complete disaster. Will not go back.

Delicious pizza by the slice in Brooklyn. Great sized slice, great toppings, great dough, great price. I was pleasantly surprised at how it wasn't greasy either! My husband and I went at lunch time during the week and were served quickly and served with a smile.

Great by the Slice

Had several places to pick for lunch in Williamsburg but Joe's Pizza got the vote ! Had a couple of slices at $3 to $4 a slice, real good value & really good fresh pizza !! Very limited seating available but good to sit & watch the Sunday crowd go by !

The Best Pizza Crust Ever!

I’m not joking here. I’ve tried pizza everywhere, even in Italy, but the crust wasn’t anything close to this one. It is as thin as it gets and Very crisp yet soft, never soggy. You can get slices of American margarita, Italian margarita, mushroom & red onion, spinach too.

Typical NY pizza simple toppings, simple crust, but so comforting and delicious ! The place is so charming too ! Mostly a takeaway place but a couple of seats inside, service was friendly and efficient ! Go !
